Then He will take His place on His throne in Jerusalem, as King over the whole earth.
Yes, and He will soon remove the wicked from this earth, and take His place on the Throne of David in Jerusalem.
Please share with us the point you are making with these scriptures.
From your two previous posts shown as quotes above, I supposed that you were saying that Jesus is going to rule over the earth during the millennium from the earthly Jerusalem, and with the following post I was attempting to show why that I believe Jesus will rule from heaven instead.
Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign
on (This could also be the word OVER the earth, because that is where Jesus and us will be in heaven.)
The following post is repeated here for clarity"
Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me
in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in His throne.
In
Rev 4:1 John is told to come up “Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.” (Isn’t this in heaven?)
Rev 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold,
a throne was set in heaven, and
One sat on the throne. (Here Jesus receives His own throne, and it is in heaven. Why would He return to the earthly Jerusalem to rule for the thousand years?)
Rev 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about
him; and
they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty,
which was, and is, and is to come. (Is this Jesus?)
Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for
Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:16 For by Him (Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether
they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:
all things were created by Him, and for Him:
Please consider these following verses.
Heb 12:18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched . .
Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto
mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
Rev 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty
and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
Rev 14:4 . . .These were
redeemed from among men,
being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. (Of Israel)
Rev 14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault
before the throne of God. (God’s throne is in heaven.)
When will Jesus come back to the earth as the lamp of the heavely Jerusalem?
Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city,
new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (When does this occur? after the millennium?)
