THE COLORS OF CFNET

Which Option Would You Choose for the Site??

  • Total voters
    10
  • Poll closed .
Hi Nick,

I'm not sure of the logistics of this but do you know how you can pick your own background colors on your personal email accounts like Google? Would it be possible for members to select in settings the color of the CF.net they see (maybe give us 3 color schemes to choose from)? Or if not the main colors of the page, maybe the contrasts that are used, so each member can pick a contrast suitable for their eyes?

Blessings,
Dee
Yes, it would be possible to allow members to choose between different styles. It's more work for us, so we'll see.

  • Blue - a very deep, rich royal blue . . . . is not orangy red
  • Red . . . . . .is not blank
  • Purple . . . . . Is not yellow
  • Green . . . . is not off pink
  • Maroon . . . . . is not blank
  • Keep it the same! I'm kinda borrrring!! . . . . is not aqua green

  • The cute little colour bars for the vote DONT match the words!

I'll give you 3 guesses where this color red comes from...and the first two don't count. :chin

Just bumping so this isn't overlooked, since we only have until Thursday to vote!

You can say in your post if you prefer a color change of some sort or not. It may be that a majority would appreciate a change but pick different colors, and the votes are distributed among the color choices. If the majority of members weighing don't want to see a change, we won't do it. If they do, we can make it happen. :wave

I voted for red, but I wonder if it will be interpreted as that, or as blue.

I guess it doesn't matter as long as the blue vote gets counted as red (since they cancel each other out anyway).

The poll thingy-bob generates the color of the bars on its own. Pay no attention to the color of the bars. And don't think of a pink elephant right now either. ;)

Is purple the winner? What'd yall decide?
Never mind, it's still Thursday. :D Hurry up and close the votes before someone votes for A&M maroon. :p

Wow. Ten votes... :shame

Looks like yall will either soon sign on to a purple site or a message here saying we're doing nothing. :wave

Hey, at least your thread got a post. Not even stirring up the old coke/ pepsi fight got any takers on my thread. :sad

Just do red...Coke red...and leave it at that.

Actually I like the suggestion of being able to select your own color scheme. Pretty easy to do in PHP, no?

Just playin' around here, but why does my html code sometimes work, and sometimes not in this forum?

This exact code will not run in the 'How do I use these? thread.

(Go ahead, click it. I dare you.)
