Lights are extra bright today, sounds are extra loud, and misophonia is here, I hear all the eating and mouth noises and they must cease

(The light sensitivity comes from my lazy eye, I suspect the sound stuff is related in some way too, it seems to be secondary to the light sensitivity and usually accompanies it)

Ear plugs can help. I think foam earplugs are the most comfortable.

If your eyes don't converge properly on the same object, your brain can get confused trying to reconcile the two images. This can cause stress. Reading a lot can intensify the situation in some people with strabismus. Optometrists can give glasses that prism over one image to its correct place. Some optometrists think this will increase the strabismus over time, and other optometrists think its fine. No agreement on this issue.

Some opthamologists think reading on a large computer screen far from the eyes helps some people who experience nerve stress while reading a lot.

Migraine headaches tend to get gradually milder as people get older. Sometimes they go back the other way after 70 or so. Not always.
