Mariah's no slouch as a singer, but in this case I have to lean towards the original. Journey- another of the few bands I've seen in concert, twice. I think I saw Blondie open for them, about 5 seconds before she became famous.
 
Thanks! I also saw the Charlie Daniels Band open for Heart once. Again, just before they hit the big time. It was the first time I heard The Devil Went Down to Georgia. I knew it was going to be a hit.
