The Derailing Thread

I had one years ago I tried decorating it and I ruined it! :crying. The sound just makes me feel so light hearted and joyous.
I have a guitar but whenever I play it I hear voices so I stopped.
I found a Ukulele starter set for under 40 dollars on amazon. I asked my mom if I could have one. We'll see. If she says no... I'll ask for it when Christmas comes around LOL

Do you still play guitar?
What song was your favorite to play and sing with?
I decided to completely stop playing so I could devote full time to language study. I still have my guitar. People were surprised I stopped so abruptly.

My friend (Japanese, and a killer electric guitar fiend) used to do a killer version of Stairway to Heaven. I on acoustic and vocal, he on lead guitar.

Don Shipley is a retired Navy SEAL living in Virginia who now spends much of his time "outing" phony SEALS, a phenomenon which has apparently reached epidemic proportions. You cannot throw a rock these days without hitting an ex-SEAL. While the issue of such "stolen valor" is a very serious one, the responses of some of the ones confronted by Shipley can cross into the sublimely hilarious as they scramble for excuses. [Possibly NSFW, remember Don is a salty old sailor].

Don's a good guy. Remember, he's a warrior, a member of the most elite fighting unit ever created (by President John F. Kennedy, who himself was in the Navy). They took down Bin Laden. And being in the Navy, the ability to swear and swagger is not a guideline, it's a requirement. I'm a paid member of his subscription site ($10/month) http://www.extremesealexperience.com.
