The Derailing Thread

The closest thing I've gotten to nightmares in recent years were when I had dreams filled with highly depressive feelings back when that was still a thing I was recovering from. So I doubt I will. I might get creepy elements in my dreams though, I guess. Sometimes I do have dreams I'm happy to wake up and get away from.

Not too bad today. Saw my doc yesterday, and we fine-tuned the pain meds a little. The deal I struck was more Oxy, in exchange for less Hydro. I think this schedule will "smooth" the rollercoaster a bit.

I've done that, a lot. Not just spaghetti, other big meals. When I was karate-training, I'd come home around 10pm, started cooking dinner around 11 or later, finally finishing up around midnight. Calorie-starved from grueling martial arts training, I'd make two big steaks each with a big baked potato. And still worry about losing weight.

He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today.
He walks with me and talks with me
Along life's narrow way
He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart....!!!
You ask me how I know he lives
He LIVES within my heeeaaaaarrrt!!!

Gonna watch 12 years a slave with In-laws tonight.
I have a good relationship with Matt's parents. I'm lucky... I really do love them.

Interesting! I'd never heard of this film. I admit I was wondering how Steve McQueen (d.1980) could have directed it.

Well, 15 minutes into the movie I had to stop watching it. I didn't know it was rated R.
I don't like sex and violence. Plus I was super sad when the guy was beaten in the beginning. So, yeah.
