The Derailing Thread

I need to vacuum the house (with a vacuum that actually works, yessss) and then get my butt on a walk because that's the only exercise I'll be getting today.

The last lines of these verses are very expressive! :)

Blessings.
"I notice, I know this
Week is a symbol of how I use my time
Resent it, I spent it
Convincing myself the world's doing just fine
Without me
Doing anything of any consequence
Without me
Showing any sign of ever making sense
Of my time , it's my life
And my right, to use it like I should
Like he would, for the good
Of everything that I would ever know"
~from Relient K's 'More Than Useless'

"It is the rhythm of the dancers
That gives the poets life
It is the spirit of the poets
That gives the soldiers strength to fight
It is fire of the young ones
It is the wisdom of the old
It is the story of the poor man
That's needing to be told"
~from Casting Crowns' 'City on the Hill'

Well, glad to think you can even contemplate a walk outside, because up here there is a windchill of around minus 20C...

Blessings.

Full of themselves? You mean kinda like some animals that will eat their legs off to get out of a trap?

Naw! The keyboard is great to hide behind and you can be as wonderful, smart cute as you can make yourself, kind of full. You know, just like a musician behind a mike,

Sooo many Christians have discovered Casting Crowns and really like the band...

Oh, well, you guys get it too, down there...

Blessings.
I heard someone mentioning how in the '90s it seemed to get this cold more often. In the first decade of the 2000's our winters were almost like summer sometimes. Maybe this decade it's reverting back to '90s weather.

Now excuse me while I listen to music to hype myself up and then go vacuum the carpet while pretending I'm doing something cool and awesome.

"I blaze a trail like the rays from taillights
Sound shaking the ground like earthquakes in hell might
Someday I'll die but not tonight
Excuse me while I light up the sky"
~from Thousand Foot Krutchs' 'Light Up the Sky'

Tell this to the politicians who want to keep putting up taxes, supposedly because of global warming...

Which style of music? :)

Blessings.

This is the kind of music I listen to when cleaning up. Makes you feel like you're doing something epic and awesome when washing the dishes. :lol

Edit: the one you posted works for hyping oneself, too!

Back in the mid 70's, my high school biology teacher told us that you could sterilize fruit flies by playing rock music for them.
