I'm reading back through these today before responding to your latest ones. I'm so glad I did for apparently I overlooked this one. Being "outside the gate" was being outside His heavenly home...to suffer for us. :amen I didn't look far enough in understanding that. I just saw the earthly meaning.

YES....We all see the 'earthly meaning' at first. It wasn't till after calvary that the disciples and early believers were given to see things after the flesh 'no more' 2 Cor 5:16

Beyond that, I believe those see Christ after the flesh will not know the difference between the Antichrist and the Christ of God.... DECEPTION Big Time! But then, we need not be afraid, Christ gave us the spirit to show us the way and to walk in that way!

Have you noticed how the numbers of chapter and verse (which were not in the text) many times are connected to the meaning in the verse or give a meaning through the numeric significance? For instance...John 6:66 shows ....

Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred theescore and six.

Revelation 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Those of the 9/11 attacks certainly had the king of verse 9:11 over them.

John 6:66 jumped out at me as well...those that walked 'no more' with Christ.

11 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the Temple of God with idols? for ye are the Temple of the living God; as God hath said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

In the previous post I wrote that we are His feet, "his feet as pillars of fire." [Revelation 10:1] He dwells in us and walks in us...in His feet.

....God hath said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them... :amen

We who were HIS enemies...are now His FOOTSTOOL! ........ :yes
