The Happy Thread (No Negativity)

My husband makes me laugh more than anyone I've ever met. It's awesome to laugh all the time and thankfully my kids have his humor and wit. Laughing makes me happy.
 
OK. My dad just celebrated 30 years at the same place of employment. He's been promoted, so now he's making more $$$ and such. Mama retired from her high pressure job, at long last. She's doing -so- much better, plus she has free time to dedicate to other stuff, such as the high maintenance house dogs.

They went out to a local bar and grill last night and brought me back some food. Good times. Today, we're having some cheese cake and some kinda steak dinner mama's whipping up. Here's to daddy! :-)

As for -me-, personally...God is good! And He's been working on, steadily, since I got saved, 5 years ago (miracle!). I'm possibly, maybe going to enroll in a college-level creative writing class, so...that's kind of a big deal, for me. I've always enjoyed writing, but now somehow my IQ estimate has gone up high enough for me to actually write -well- , which is...always a good thing. I'm hoping this class will help me improve my style, plus give me some much needed structure.

OK. I think that's all good stuff, right? Right. Good idea for a thread, btw. :-)
 
Woot! It's negative 3 outside and I just came in from spreading a 30 pound bag of carrots for the deer and it's so cold, the snow fell right off my shoes and even my pant legs were dry from wadi g through a foot of powdered snow!
 
sooooooo happy :sohappylife is good :thumbsup hubby and I are going out of town tomorrow to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, God is good and just enjoying life to the fullest and waiting till summer so I can ride the four-wheeler again. Don't like winter riding just to cold for all these joint replacements, brrrrrr!!! Glad you joined us HeIsRisen2018 :hug we are pretty much a harmless bunch that down deep we do love each other. :biggrin

Right now it's zero out there. :mouthdropThis is the coldest winter I can remember. Poor hubby has to work outside in all of this coldness. He knows how to layer up.

Alright guys, really need some cheering up right now. I just finished watching the Tom and Jerry movie and one of the songs on there always makes me bawl like a baby and it's really hard to get me to cry for anything whether it would be stories, movies, or songs. But right now just thinking about that song is bringing tears to my eyes. :crying

I'm happy I don't have to work outside for a living any more!

Thank you and Happy Anniversary to the both of you :).
You and we here get those wonderful lake effects, but even though the tempts have been extremely cold we really haven't had that big snow yet. The most we have had here is about eight inches. Been snowing all day today and the rest of the week is calling for snow except tomorrow.

Yeah.... We got over 6 inches yesterday! Yeah! Woot, woot! Love them 2 hour drives into work and I got to use my plow again!

Our Landlord keeps us plowed out, but would be nice to get one for one of the four-wheelers. I'd even do the plowing with that, but don't like going out in the cold as all the metal in my knees and hips actually freeze up somewhat and makes it hard to walk in the snow.
 
Here is a very positive note. I went to the official sites of, and read some books by, a couple of "belief systems" we are supposed to hate and oppose.... and I found they are pretty much just like you and me.
