Blessings to you all

:wave

I don't believe in luck I believe in God's blessings :) Well I didn't get alot of time to chill. Things came up but I'm on here now for a little while

Yeah I'm great thanks Blev. Been up since before dawn, got a lot done already. only 11am here. Public holiday for the Kings Birthday.
How r you, besides tired?I hope all's well for you Must be late over there?

So tell me about this King's birthday. What do you do over there to celebrate on this holiday?

Most people go to the temple in the morning and give alms to the monks. Then they suffer thru the church elders (not monks) speeches about how great the King is. After that they go home and reflect on how great the king is....or as a lot do,look at their reflection in the bottom af their rapidly draining glass of rice whiskey / beer.
TV (all 5 national stations) has a simulcast of the days event showing the king, the kings life, the kings deeds, the kings dogs, the kings awards, the king king king king.
I do actually like the King , he really does work fo rhis people not like the royal family lording it over Oz it's just that they have an overblown obsession about him here. We have a temple right behind our house. The loud speakers have been going flat out since 6am...one of the elders went on in a MONOTONE for an hour and a half! Even Thayanee was getting peeved with it...
sorry for the rant Blev.....

Good morning and blessings to everyone. I hope it's a joyful day for you all!
My day has been especially wonderful as Thayanee and I have just found out God has blessed us with a child!!! After a couple of disappointments, he has answered my prayers and we will become parents (1st time for Thayanee) around the 21st of July. Praise Him!

Later I finally found a Church near our village (10km away) No one there and no contact or sevice details on the sign (or denomination),but it looks like it is still used so will rock up on Sunday and hopefully can find some more brothers and sisters in Christ.
A great great day
Blessings to everyone and your loved ones

Paul1965,

That's wonderful news. How precious are the little ones! I'm very happy for you and Thayanee.

And about the church, I am praying that works out for you. If not the Lord will show you where to go, since you don't know yet what kind of church it is or if they preach the truth.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone.

Blev, it's a Christian church, that much I found out from the people who live next door (and the big cross in the front yard) ,it's definitely not Catholic because thats the one denomination they know about here and it's not a big fancy building.. My preference would be for multi or non denominational simply teaching and fellowshipping together in His word...
