Cyrus is the only Heathen Ruler/King mentioned by name 600 years before he showed up. He brought Mazdaism (Zoraostrianism) with him which syncretism effected every religion since... including Judaism. In fact much of the angel theological positions stem from this religion. (Which I find facinating) And these thoughts heavily influenced "The Book of Enoch". (Written around 100BC)Not that I want a lengthy discussion, so I'll post my say and move on with the matter. It is your choice with what you do with my words.
You are forgetting that King Cyrus was sent by God, to do Gods will and for his time pushed the greatest human rights campaign known of. Yet he was devoted to Murdock. Never the less Isaiah has much to say to his esteem.
This syncretism also became the different between Shiite and Sunni Moslems.
Cyrus became a tipping point in world religions.
