Growth The Kindom of God: Why

Not that I want a lengthy discussion, so I'll post my say and move on with the matter. It is your choice with what you do with my words.

You are forgetting that King Cyrus was sent by God, to do Gods will and for his time pushed the greatest human rights campaign known of. Yet he was devoted to Murdock. Never the less Isaiah has much to say to his esteem.
Cyrus is the only Heathen Ruler/King mentioned by name 600 years before he showed up. He brought Mazdaism (Zoraostrianism) with him which syncretism effected every religion since... including Judaism. In fact much of the angel theological positions stem from this religion. (Which I find facinating) And these thoughts heavily influenced "The Book of Enoch". (Written around 100BC)

This syncretism also became the different between Shiite and Sunni Moslems.

Cyrus became a tipping point in world religions.

I think (if it is my natural mind thinking it is useless):

That if we look for the spiritual aspect of King David's kingdom, we will really be able to glimpse the present day kingdom we are looking for.

IMHO there were two aspects to David's kingdom:
The flesh side
The heart side

There may be some difference in today's final definition, but there is also a parallel that helps us get a grasp on the spiritual reality.

Anyone wish to define David's spiritual kingdom?
wondering?

And others of us believe The New Jerusalem is the souls that make up the essence of the people of God. I believe it is, in no way, any sort of "structure" plopped down somewhere on the Earth, and that we each have a little cubicle there, in which to exist. (Kinda sounds like The Matrix.)

As I was reading about the tail of the dragon sweeping away a third of the stars...... I noticed one man's comment about that scene: That, as he justly remarked, “is theology, not astronomy.”
There can be a spiritual / spirit definition
And
A soul definition.

How are you using (soul)?

Willie,
I respect you and I'll not divide over this but this a theological matter and understanding that my opinion is not any better than yours, except, I gave the foundation scripture my take is built from and you hit me with an opinion and kept it a secret what it is based on. I tell people everywhere to be a Berean and to trust none when they do not back it with the Word.

I wasn't meaning to keep anything secret. Sorry.
"Measuring" was important to the Jews because there was a certain designation, or portion, of the Temple where the people of God worshiped. Anything outside that measured area was set aside for the unclean people to remain quarantined in. They were not allowed with the Holy people. I believe that was what was being shown to John.... that this city was actually representational of God's selected people.

By thinking. If you are of the impression you have to find a verse telling you to either do something, or don't do it, you might as well put on that "dividing" hat you were talking about, right now. Because I will never be that sad kind of person.

Willie,
God and His Holy Word are sacred and He inspired men to record a good number of things to learn that we should grow. And as I
said earlier, what I posted is not just my opinion, it is what God has promised he will do. This book is, for one thing, the Yard Stick by which all things are measured by God. This Bible is the Final Court of Arbitration until our LORD returns to rule and teaching any other Gospel is to intentionally lie and is punishable by Eternal Death, not dead as we know it, but continually dying with no relef in the Lake of Fire. You don't want that, that would be akin to the jungle, pounding the ground looking for the idiot that wants you dead and every time you drop him he runs off and rearms to kill you again.

Man I have no idea what you did in country but I do know you've witnessed Hell on this earth and do not need to exist in that state perpetually.

I wish I understood everything about the word of God, and its active nature.

The word of God brought about creation.
The Word made Adam's flesh.
The Spirit of God made Adam alive.
The word became Jesus.
The Spirit of God descended on Jesus and remained.
Jesus (second Adam became a quickening spirit).
Jesus sent the Holy Spirit (from Heaven to baptise us, and allow us to witness).
The Holy Spirit came on / into Gentiles.

Let us / Godhead do things (yet not us but Christ in us).
The Godhead works in us. Our born again nature is from God (What part is word and what part is Spirit?

A wretched man with a quickening spirit.

I'm here.
I believe it's time for part II
Coming up.

The conversation is good and everything said has been correct in different ways.

The Kingdom of God: Where?

A wretched man
With a quickening spirit.

Well said.

Sorry. I cannot just buy into that as a flat statement.
Quoting verses really only shows that the copy/paste feature of our computer is functioning properly. Quoted verses really prove nothing to me if the person quoting them has not taken them into their heart, and can speak to me — through their own opinion — of the meaning of the verse... AND how it relates to the rest of the Bible.

One person can believe a particular verse means "A", and another person can think that same verse means "B". They both, kind of naively, often post that verse, and just say, "There!"........ as though that somehow proves something. We both know "Thou shalt not kill." is a prime example.

If you will not even reason with the issue, an issue of Eternal Consequence then I'll hush but I really hate to see good men and women go into the Lake of Fire but it will be that will be.

If the stars fall from the sky.literally from a literal dragon so huge then logicalky the stars in the sky fought sisera.

Yet satan is so small men will wonder how such a thing caused such a destruction.see isiah 66.

You done good choosing Isaiah 66

In our pea brain:
We consider the stars and His story written in the star clusters.

We consider the nations and see the influence of God as he builds and tears down (sometimes using those we think he will not use).

We consider the battle in our mind as the temptation hits our existence.

We consider heaven and wonder at the great number of angels.

We consider the mysteries contained in a cell.
..............

The creator has made many things. Do we only see our pet thought?

Murdock?

Who did Saul of Tarsus serve before he repented?

I know.
Buddha didn't come to save. He never claimed to be God.
He came to promote the Kingdom of God.
God used him, at his time.

Umm.
BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
sorry, no.
God didn't use him.
As a matter of fact, "buddhism" is currently keeping a lot of people on the road straight to hell.
If you want to have yourself a conversation that will open your eyes, find yourself a devout French Buddhist and try to
lead them to Christ.
Good luck with that.
