The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
Psalm 19:7
Hi kiwidanYes God is Holy and Perfect and where there is no law there is no transgression, but sin was in the world before the law was given, hold on, behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
Hi kiwidan
There is no law and Jesus took care of sin before the law was given.
So are you saying there there is no longer any sin?
OKI do not believe Christ failed on the Cross.
OK
I agree.
What did Jesus mean when He told the adultress woman...
"Go and sin no more".
Im not all knowing but my guess is Christ had not yet gone to the cross so the curse of the Law was still standing. Not one jot of the law will pass until all things are fullfilled. If people believe it Christ fulfilled all things. He did not fail.
Christ took away the sin of the world and nailed the law to the cross, and his commandments are Love with no contract attached, because there is no law. If Christ had a contract attached it would be the same thing all over again and people would need a Savior from the Savior.
So you're saying that He nailed the Law to the cross, not our sins?Im not all knowing but my guess is Christ had not yet gone to the cross so the curse of the Law was still standing. Its not blessings and curses anymore, its just blessings.
So you're saying that He nailed the Law to the cross, not our sins?
Regarding the atonement...Both. He took away the sin of the world and the law as scripture says. He fullfilled everything.
"The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"
"Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;"
"Christ bought us with His blood and made us free from the Law. In that way, the Law could not punish us. Christ did this by carrying the load and by being punished instead of us."
"He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."
People either believe he has taking away the sin of the world and broke the power of the devil through his death as scripture says, or they dont believe Christ took away the sin of the world and failed.
So you think God wanted to punish us?Both. He took away the sin of the world and the law as scripture says. He fullfilled everything.

Regarding the atonement...
I believe Jesus died to free us from our slavery to Satan and sin.
So we are not slaves to sin anymore.
What do you think that means?
This sounds like the New Covenant to me. Interesting.Im not all knowing but my guess is Christ had not yet gone to the cross so the curse of the Law was still standing. Not one jot of the law will pass until all things are fullfilled. If people believe it Christ fulfilled all things. He did not fail.

Ok.Thats the same thing right. There is no sin. John come saying the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. So either Jesus took away the sin of the world, or, Jesus failed and Elijah is a liar.
Are you saying John the Baptist was Elijah, or that he had the power of Elijah?John come saying the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. So either Jesus took away the sin of the world, or, Jesus failed and Elijah is a liar.
Ok.
He took away the sins and the sin of the world.
But John said we still sin and if we think we don't , we're liars.
So we still sin, right?
John said that too, two verses down.He took away the Sin of the world as scripture says. And in John it says
"If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."
The knowledge of good and evil.
Are you saying John the Baptist was Elijah, or that he had the power of Elijah?
