The Lord shows Abraham the future...

take it up to justin martyr then as well he was taught by disciples of john, ie clement and polycarp. so do you dare know more then them, whom John taught, that recieved the vision. get clue. just because the prophet gets the message doesnt mean he understands the message. Did issiah see everything about Jesus? NO. he didnt. he knew what he was taught by the oral traditions and the tanach up to his day.

i have spent time with jews and will continue to do so, i read up on them.i know what they say. have you ever buried your jewish family? oh yeah your a gentile. you dont know what they pray. i have prayed the kaddish recenlty. i know what they look for and what did come. they dont teach ben joseph, but ben david.

ben joseph must have come before ben david. if you dont believe in ben joseph then ben david is your enemy. a jew sees isreal as his idenfication with GOD,not jesus.

there is no levites in christ, as you think it a levite is saved in christ but no longer is needed to be kohen for the temple is his body. that is what i have tried to tell you, isreal had a function and they failed god and were cast aside.

the church was never told it would fail

yet the closest thing we get to that is when paul says after i die, wolves shall come in. hmm but still that neither negates what jesus said. "i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it"

isreal never had that type of promise. people make up isreal. when a jew is saved God is fulfilling that promise of forming an isreal without sin.why didnt the early church being mostly jewish ever say it was isreal? they identified themselves with christ not isreal. isreal and its feasts and language(hebrew) all point to christ. why is that soo hard for christians to see that?
 
And not a single mention of any biblical event which is to come.

Sad considering that is what the Holy Spirit of God does.. shows us things to come..

really what is a levite? is he someon that is in name only?

what does this mean that is to come? educate me on this verse?

im not a levite but since any jew with the name of levi,levy, kohen, cohn,cohen is i will tell them what you mean.im having doubts here jesus and paul said that one is to repent at the cross and yet in the book of isiah chapter 66 it says this.

20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the Lord out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the Lord, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord.

21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the Lord.

hmm tell me what that means as a levite what will they do? will they bow for the lord and repent or will take a goat,lamb and what not and repent? or make an offering? levites also did offerings and ATONED FOR THE NATION.

I DONT KNOW,teach me what that is, doesnt the bible say in hebrews that we have a high priest forever whom isnt like aaron but like melchisidec?

Not a single mention of ANYTHING that is to come.. post after post.. nothing.. not a single thing which they know about to come..

Again.. very sad testimony when the Spirit of God shows us things to come.. and yet some can't provide a single event to come..

So what's tell ya ?
 
i dont know. if i take it your way then the lord being in the temple wont forgive sins unless its by the blood of the lambs and yet a gentile is never asked in the tanach to repent in that manner. he may join himself to isreal and be circumised but theres a problem.

these so called levites are saved when? before he returns! ok then if that is the case then why does it mention that they have to repent when they are sinless. i would really appreciate if you actually countered me instead of repeating yourself. surely you can show me where it doesnt say that a levite doesnt have to do the law to be saved and is sinless? its not that hard

see theres a problem these guys have sin and well the lord came and died and when he a died the temple veil was rent in twain,.yet here it says these levites whom got saved before the millenium have to repent to have all of isreal be accepted. that is my problem.

but its gets worse

see there it says that ole zeke was to take the vision and measurement to the elders in the diaspora and show them and if they repented then all these promises of a temple and the YHWH and his Glory would return.
 
This thread is about the LORD showing Abraham (the father of our faith) things to come.. ie, the future..

The LORD told us as plain as day that the Holy Spirit will show you things to come.. just as He did with Abraham..

So.. does ANYONE have ANYTHING which the Lord has revealed to them concerning the things to come.. ?
 
sir that is come. that is the third temple im mentioning or you dont believe that isreal has tribes and twelve of them mentioned in genesis and the torah and in revalation. or do you?

so you dont believed in a millenial reign of christ with the twelve tribes(levy is one of them)?
 
it has a lot to do with the topic.

levites are of isreal.

so are the other tribes. you say that in abraham that his seed is as the number of the sea. well? if that doesnt include christian after the hebrews whom then does in include?im of isreal.View attachment 2776

Does ANYONE have ANYTHING to post concerning the things to come.. as the Holy Spirit has revealed them..?
 
that is my grandparents on that headstone in hebrew it says harry son of jacob, and adele daughter of jacob.(isreal in this text is used because of the connation) they did that because they believe the moshiac will come for them and bring them to isreal along with all jews. my uncle lies next to them. if you notice it has pebbles on that grave,.im on the one that put them there. both harry and adele are literaly children of jacob for jacob was the name of their dad.

so if you are going to say isreal is of abraham then when i mention its nature and tribes and ask what they are doing in the prophets here for clarification please dont get upset..just show me clearly. im willing to repent of my position if theres merit.

theres some nagging things that i as a jew cant deny. part of me knows that im of isreal.im been told by God. yet im not alone its happened to my brother and some friends whom never knew they were jews. that alone might encourage the futurists. but i like to know what the bible says not base things on emotions.

so i stand with amil for now and i dont know one some promises simply because i dont know

Trouble is, if one thinks Jesus was warning the guys about it it throws the theology of " this generation" all out of whack.

Israel has always been a nation of those who are faithful to God. It was that way in the OT. It remains that way in the New. You are "of Israel", Jason, but not because you were born of Jewish parents but because of your faith in Christ.

That's what the mystery of the gospel Paul preached is: Jew and Gentile brought together as a single, holy temple wherein the glory and righteousness of God may dwell. His Holy Spirit in you attests to that.
 
The church of God...

Any Christian in their right spiritual mind will know that the Lord Jesus Christ continues to build His church.. calling out a people for His name.. ie, CHRISTians..

So what's going to happen when the Lord is finished building His church..?

Then what ?
 
The Lord's Table...

We know that the church of God comes together to remember the LORD in His death til He comes.. That's what the LORD's Supper is.. breaking bread and passing the cup in remembering His infinite love and grace in dying on that forsaken cross for our sins.. even the sin of the world..

There is no end to the depths of that alone.. and yet there is infinitely more to come when the infinite One does come in power and great glory in that Day..

And He that hath begun a GOOD WORK in YOU shall perform it, even until the DAY of Jesus Christ..

So what's next after the Lord is finished building His church.. or to say it this way.. when the fulness of the Gentiles be come in..?
 
The just shall live by FAITH...

SO what is FAITH...

FAITH is the substance of things hoped for.. the evidence of things not seen.. or not yet realized..

Is it a false hope ?

Is the Christian by FAITH hoping in something.. ?

If so, then what is it ?

Paul tells us plainly.. the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our bodies.. and just so that it is unmistakably clear.. he writes that even WE who HAVE the FIRSTFRUITS of the SPIRIT (the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession).. even WE groan within ourselves.. and we patiently WAIT for it.. for hope that is seen (or already realized) is no hope at all..

Could the word of God be any more clear in this matter ?
 
Faith Hope Love...

This is why the Apostle to the Gentiles speaks of shunning profane babbling.. which increases to ungodliness..

For one vital reason... these profane babblings lead to some losing their FAITH.. and of course your FAITH is going to be overthrown when we begin listening to these who say that the resurrection is past already... because there is NO FAITH and NO HOPE in that..

How can there be faith and hope when they tell you that this is it.. that it is already realized in you..?

That's what this ultimately does.. it robs you of your faith.. which is once again.. EMBRACING the promises of God.. and it is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.

Don't let anyone steal away your precious faith in the promises of God.. for your inheritance in Him is beyond measure and will literally take the ages to come to realize.. for our Lord Jesus Christ is beyond measure.. even the One who inhabits eternity.
