The New Funny Pics Thread - Part 2

questdriven:

Does your mom maybe also joke a bit about some of the Fundamentalist taboo stuff? (like we have talked about).

Blessings.
Not mostly. There are jokes used even in baptist churches on how baptists can be so solemn...as opposed to some other denominations where everyone's all happy and praising God loudly. Like, "there's something that'll even make a baptist shout".

Of course I'm not talking about being irreverent about doctrine or morals or anything like that. I was thinking more of the taboo stuff (all sorts, you know about).

Blessings.

This is one way to make sure you stick to your diet.

Truth , doesn't matter which country or continent. TRUTH!
That's sexist. :-( Not all women like to shop.
Shopping for the sake of shopping is really a very shallow way to spend time. I'd go shopping if I need something in particular, but then it really won't take long.

My worst shopping experience was when my then boyfriend dragged me along (well he needed a ride and I had a car) to buy shoes for himself. It was hell. All shoes were too big, too small, too tight, wrong colour, wrong material, not waterproof, too expensive.... so we spent the entire afternoon visiting all big shoe shops around the city. And did we find shoes for him? Nope.
*sigh* Men.

he needs to turn his man card in.

There are a lot more of us who do not like to shop than a mere 0.01%.

Of all my friends and acquaintances, there's only been one who loved to shop....and that was one of the manifestations of her bi-polar condition. (Owning a nice tent is fine....does anyone truly need 40 of them?????)
