My aunt used to make me this when I was a kid.I really liked it but she has been dead for years and it is really hard to make.

I do a lot of baking & cooking & candy making for Christmas. Divinity and fudge are givens... along with chocolate covered peanuts .... usually 4 double batches of cut out cookies that we decorate up ....typically another 3 or 4 other types of cookies .... chocolate raspberry truffles, and this year chocolate strawberry truffles .... and a family-favorite cookie that must remained unidentified here .........

That sounds wonderful.A lot of Chocolate.

It's been a tradition to give a lot of it away. And with two charitable Christmas parties for kids coming up in a couple of weeks, a lot of what's prepared will be packaged up for them. Lots of fun!

I accidently let my 2 qt.calphalon saucepan boil dry tonight.I think it is ruined.Since it has that teflon coating I am nervous about reusing it.I might have to buy another.I like ALL CLAD stainless steel but it is so darned expensive.

I'm done with my Christmas shopping.
All I have left to do is go to the Russell Stover factory and pick up a variety of chocolates.
And I love coconut.

Okay, it's getting closer to Christmas.
Time for some Christmas carols.
Kathi, will you lead us in "O little town of Bethlehem"...
