Don't go getting paranoid now, Thess :wink:
Believe it or not, last time I was up in Southport - for the Good Friday Walk of Witness - the first of many that I went to talk to was an old charismatic RC pal
He's known for years where I stand, so when we meet, we talk family & friends
I was particularly encouraged that an old neo-pagan pal rang me out of the blue last night to get 37 minutes' worth of problems off his chest & said he found it a real tonic
He too has known for years where I stand & we usually just talk common interests when we meet - I often just say, at the end, 'I'll be praying for you'
As I've said before, the 'Net has its limitations - ya can't see facial expressions or hear vocal tones
& I was only praying, on the way here, about the number of times this site has been down for a full day, just in the past 3 weeks, when I'd never known it happen in the past 15 months
& praying about the ever-increasing awareness that time available & energy levels are just not what they were up to @ a year ago, so that what time & energy I have to offer God feels very much like just 5 small loaves & 2 small fish to help meet the needs of our @ 5,500 members & maybe 10+ times that many non-member readers
I ask God daily to multiply it fruitfully
& since we made contact in Jan, I've consistently prayed for you more than I have for anyone else in here
I like a challenge, just as much as you do, Thess 8-)
& as Jesus said, "Whatever you ask in My name, believe that you have received it & you shall have it", I always try to visualise, by faith, the goal of seeing you set free from all the RC red tape to soar, in the Spirit, on wings like an eagle, to bring others to the true freedom that Christ alone can bring
Just as Martin Luther did, after his long struggle for assurance of salvation was abundantly answered by rich revelation of the teaching of Romans 1-12 about the good news of saving faith, by the sheer grace of God
Come to think of it, I haven't yet shared on this site how it was years as an altar boy & choirboy in an anglo-catholic church that turned me into an atheist for @ 2 years, so I know how deadly dead ritual can be

I think you over-rate yourself. No one chooses to bash 'you' so much as 'what you believe and follow'. I must admit that you come on kinda harsh sometimes in your replies, but under the circumstances, I believe that you handle yourself admirably most of the time. Not easy to defend oneself against the overwhelming majority of heretical Protestants on this forum, (he he he). I will include myself in this category for your sake, (even though I don't consider myself a Protestant), understanding that your church believes that it is the ONLY true church, I will accept their label of me.
So, no bashing of Thess today, (yet). But, I'm sure if given the opportunity, we'll find a reason before the day is over, (he he he).

You smell. Yup. I can smell ya from hear, and I find if offensive. I sincerely wish you would shower before getting on the internet. Maybe then your posts would have more of an effect because they would lack the 'odor of the elderly.'

Personaly the prodenstants and the catholics are pretty much the same as I see it, there is really very little difference when you get down to it. You call them priest they call them pastors, you call the popes they call them demoninational president. Tomamto Patato
