The thess bashing thread

What!!! A Thess thread? Great!

Thess I don't mind what you say to me. I've lived long enough to know there are many sincere people who believe they are doing God's work and that it is their responsibility and duty to uphold truth. I see you as one such person. Saul was another - but that is as far as the similarity goes.

By the way Henry. Several others have said I'm not that hard to get along with and I've had good discussions with many on this board. Perhaps the problem isn't all me. :o

No Thess, you ARE hard on 'some people, (argumenative and insulting). I personally, don't allow these things to affect me, much. But, there are others that, no being used to debate such as this, are not use to being attacked the way in which you have a tendency to do. For them, I leave it to them to do the 'bashing', he he he.

I am use to being 'bashed' for my views however, from both your side, and the Protestants. So, being bashed on a 'regular basis' makes for some pretty thick skin. I have read the Word and understand that ANYONE that follows 'truth' to any degree WILL be bashed by the rest. Christ stated that those that followed His would become enemies of 'their OWN household'. I have found this to be 'true'.

So, Thess, welcome to the 'jungle'.

you defended my three move checkmate post well. we work well together. we ignored certain posts like from imagician coz they weren't even worth bothering to acknowledge. i think you have a lot of wisdom and knowledge of godliness, as well as pure factual knowledge of the true Church Christ started. not that all these others aren't saved and doing well in their faith, just that they are missing things like devotion to MARY and the BODY and BLOOD. keep up the good work, fellow defender of GOD and the greatest Church of all time. i love you in Christ!

I am not missing anything from not devoting to Mary. Devotion should be to Jesus, the Lord.

If you represent the Lord Thess, Jesus is the one who wears the blows. Is it better to judge or be judged?

Lest we take anything away from the Lord our God, perhaps we should all think twice before replying.

Are you devoted to your family ginger? I would hope that being in devoted servcie to God you would be in devoted service to your family.

Devotion subordinate to devotion to God is fine. Devotion is not exclusive as your post implies. My devotion to God comes first over anyone or anything (job) else I am devoted to.

I am well aware of Matt 5. The purpose for this thread is just to give people a place to put this stuff so it stops cluttering up the other threads as it seems to be doing lately (see Biblical thread of Henry's). It doesn't bother me. Say what you like folks.

Hey Thess - noticed your post on devotion - God, family, job. Out of interest what software are you involved with?

BTW - good to see the 'love' being shared. And also the 'strokes' for our gingercat :wink:

Don't recall the post. I work with lots of different software tools and debuggers and write software for power pc.

Because I don't want my thread "persecution" be shut down, I come here and tell you what you are doing in that thread.

You are very good at focusing away from the subjects when you don't like it. In fact, many of the forum posters are just like you. It is jungle out here and every where when it comes to spiritual war. I will fight the good fight for the Lord to speak up for Him.

I will not take your bait in the threads.

BTW, thank you for this thread. :D You created a monster. :wink:

ANY doctrine that teaches that the followers of it should run around and tell others that they are 'lost' is a doctrine of hate. Your faith insists that if I do NOT follow it, I am lost. No different than Islam which teaches that EVERYONE on the planet that does not accept Allah as God is an infidel and worthy of nothing less than death.

You may offer words here that deny this, but the 'truth' is that Catholocism teaches that 'their way' is the 'ONLY way', and all that refuse to follow them are heretics and not worthy of salvation.

So, I run around spurting nothing but the 'truth'. I didn't create your faith nor am I responsible for anyone following it. I have simply pointed out how 'wrong' the CC is.

But, you must admit, I'm an 'equal opportunity' basher. I knock the CC no more, no less than any other church. You accuse me of being Protestant. I, myself, choose NO such affiliation. I follow the Word and need no man-made theology to follow.

Before the day is out I will finish answering what you have asked. I will post the FACTS that are readily available about the tortures and murder that I have so often mentioned. I have avoided this in the past and simply offered generalized statements. You have insisted that I offer some sort of 'factual' information. I already have but I will offer some websites and books that contain the information for which I have offered.
