The Bible never defines just one Antichrist, but says even now there are many, 1 John 2:18. We have to remember that Satan is a created spirit and needs to work through others in order to build his literal kingdom here on earth. This will be a political, economic and a religious power that will sit upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north which is Jerusalem and cause the greatest falling away from truth, which is an abomination of desolation unlike any other.

Jesus said those who will endure in the faith of Christ unto the end the same shall be saved. Satan said, I will ascend into heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God (other ruling powers) I will sit also upon the Mount of the Congregation in the sides of the north (Jerusalem). I will ascend above the clouds, I will be like the Most High, Isaiah 14:12-15.

Sister, I think you're right. How anyone could even conceptualize going to war with God is beyond me, but Ephesians 6:12 (the whole chapter) confirms it. I think the identity of the son of perdition or even the anti Christ could be anyone on the outside but the enemy spirits on the inside. And the enemy doesn't know when God's going to make a move, lol!! So it could be someone alive now, or would have been someone else if it happened say, 150 years ago. Satan has to keep someone in the wings ready at all times. It's the same spirit(s) though, inside.

This is all spirit realm stuff. Just as we are in Christ, and Christ in us...The evil spirits can merge also. Remember the man possessed with a legion of spirits? I googled legion & it's 3000-6000!! So I guess we could say they are in satan and Satan in them?

We know the Temple of God is in His heaven and no one could ever sit there other than God. Satan said he would exalt his throne above the stars of God and be just like God, Isaiah 14:13, 14, as Satan's kingdom is here on earth. What this verse in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 means is the son of perdition, which is Satan, works through those who are even now setting up a united new world order (Satan's kingdom/temple here on earth) that will control a one world united government, economic and religious system. Satan only uses those who are blinded to truth.

antichrist is anyone Satan uses to oppose all things of Gods truth like that of the beast (nations) antichrist (lawless man) and false prophet (those who teach a different doctrine).

I know that a lot of people think there will not be another real temple built in Jerusalem, that the temple is inside us, but those are different contexts.

No matter which view is correct, they are preparing to build another literal temple in Jerusalem, getting together building materials and such. Vids on YouTube.

What would be the stupidest thing they could do at this point? Build a temple and start sacrificing animals again. That's why they'll prolly do it.

I don't believe God would allow another Temple to be built even though man is gathering materials for a new one. The Temple Mount would have to be handed over to the Jews in order for this to happen and the Muslims will never give it up as there is a greater plan in store for that of the false prophet to move his headquarters there in order to rule his New World Order. Jesus spoke in Matthew 24:2 that there will not be left one stone upon another after the Disciples showed Him the buildings of the Temple. Jesus then went up to the mount of Olives and explains why the temple will be destroyed as He gives an outline of the tribulation to come on earth during the seven trumpet and seven vial judgments of Gods great wrath upon the earth. When we see the Abomination of Desolation spoken by Daniel (antichrist who takes his seat in the newly remodeled Temple Mount that is even now being remodeled) we are then to stand in the holy place (our faith) and watch and wait for the return of Christ after Gods word has reached everyone.

The temple Paul is speaking of in Thess. and Corinthians is our flesh body.

You are right, that it has zero to do with some supposed brick and mortar job in Jerusalem, Israel.

The Dome of the Rock & the Dome of the Prophet sits in the center of the original 1st and 2nd Temple Mount. So Allah and the False Prophet sits in the earthly Temple of God saying there is no God but Allah. This new prophet is greater then Jesus and says God has no Son, denies the Christ, and kills/beheads Christians for 1500 years.
They are running around the middle east marking Christians with their nun slavery symbol ن as a mark of ownership same as they do their animals.
The very Elect will accept all of this and say Allah is God, which they are already doing and advertise the mark which they are also already doing. Remember all we have to do is accept either the name of the beast or the number of his name.
