The USA - home, but not home like it was

They don't have the generation capacity. Don't ask me why not, but they just dont.

There doesn't seem to be any technical reason for it, suggesting that it may be a deliberate choice on someone's part. Manufacturing has been fleeing Europe, in favor of places that actually have electricity.

Well, they tossed Nuclear power over Chernobyl. They are seemingly trying to emphasize 'renewable' and 'green' sources - in the wake of a rising population.

Meanwhile, China is building power plants (filthy plants) and no one says much about it.

Better to produce the power in Italy, where it can be properly scrubbed. They need manufacturing, and sensible power for their abodes.

Back to food:

people DO make a major stink about needing to fix our food supply!! It just gets no press, being voted down by the mega-corporations. So much so that Monsanto felt they had to change their name.

It is possible to avoid the horrible stuff here: buy one ingredient at a time. That's really hard to stick with. Someone else pointed out to me that you're ok with 4 ingredients in one "product," and that makes it easier.

Spinach has 17 x less nutrients than it did in the 1950's. Soil depletion. Buying organic will not correct that problem.

Imagine that solar nor wind ever could.

If that happened In my state ,green tech would go bye bye.

the orthomolecular people say to take --high potency-- daily stuff, plus extra (sometimes even vitamin c injections) when sick. and if you have the mental problems and/or chronic physical health problems, expect to load up, possibly indefinitely.

i dunno. ive stripped my supplements down to 10 grams c and 1200-1600 IU natural form E. so far, so good. I May add the B3 and high potency b-100 back in after my move, but...I dunno. "less is more," or so they say.
