This Has Got to Stop

Then why do you promote these threads?
I would think it's because.............

Because why? What does this have anything to do with worshipping a statue just because I think it's ridiculous that they're taking them down and vandalizing them?

Oh, by the way, my avatar, do you like the pic of my new sports car convertible, a 2008 Toyota Solara?

Yes, but I'm sort of upset with you right now on you saying things about me and making assumptions that aren't true.

honestly your better off

It's just too negative, I just walk out the room if I'm at someone's house who watches the news. It gives me a headache listening to and watching all the drama, most people are just going there daily lives minding there own business.

I don't mind watching or listening to discussions on issues. That's how I know what's going on.

Sorry, I don't click on unknown links, but yeah the government! When are they going to start arresting these thugs and do background checks on so called police officers to see if they're actually worthy enough to wear a badge in the first place?

I agree, but let's not turn this political as I think this thread is a good discussion and I really don't want it to have to close.

Actually, they do rigorous background checks on police officers. They even do psychological exams. They are lengthy and take time to complete. These checks are thorough. If anyone falsifies their info, it is up to a $10,000 fine/5 years in prison.

Many cops aren't able to arrest these thugs as readily being under the microscope. They have arrested some, but some mayors and governors are not backing up their police and some states are "refusing to put their police at risk". Thus, they are keeping them withdrawn from riots.

Then why do you do it?
And why do you tell others to do it?

I am kind of curious...where do you get the assumption of worship? That can be a hurtful and wild thing to assume.

Statues of historical significance are generally seen as a reminder of an accomplishment or event that shook our world. It is one thing to care about historical statues so people don't forget something important and another to go bow down and pray to this statue...you wouldn't know someone was worshipping a statue unless you saw them do so or they blatantly admit it. Some people out there have an agenda to help people forget important history, but when we start forgetting our history then we make the same mistakes.

On another note, I was wondering what you thought about all of what's been going on in the world today Jeff. I haven't see you around here for awhile. How have you been?

A statue is just a statue. It is nothing; in the Kingdom of God it should mean nothing. If seeing these statues being pulled down stirs within you anger or outrage, then where does that emotion come from? It comes from a sense of idol worship. So I guess to me Rollo Tamasi question to HeIsRisen2018 is legitimate. What was her motivation for starting this thread?

Imagine how the children of Israel were stirred up by Jezebel in defense of the groves and idol worship in the days of Elijah. A lot of people are being stirred these day. As if they are being sifted.

That's the craziest thing that I ever heard. :rolleyes
