This is a terrible evil

You should be able to work on your vehicle whenever you want to, on your own property. As long as you don't wake up your neighbors.

Most roads don't belong to individuals, so individuals are not able to design them for efficiency. Roads necessarily need to be designed by the state. They should be designed in an organized manner, using modern traffic engineering. Many states delegate road planning to localities, which sometimes can lead to disorganized coordination between localities.

I agree with the recommendation for 3-5 year olds.
Before that leaves a big question mark for me and I'm happy I never had to make this choice.
Home care with a trusted family member would me my number one choice after, of course, the mother.

wondering,

I didn't have to worry about child care because we chose for my wife to be a stay-at-home Mum. That was her choice.

I meet for lunch and fellowship with a 64-year-old Christian man on Monday. He will have his grandson with him, who is age 3. Since he has retired from the police force, he has chosen to make himself available to babysit the grandchildren wherever possible. He also does this with his younger grand-daughter.

However, I understand that to pay off house mortgages in this urbanised culture, it needs 2 incomes.

In just 20 years, the average Sydney house price has increased more than fivefold from $233,250 in 1997 to $1,190,390 today, while in Melbourne prices over the same period have increased by more than six times from $142,000 to $943,100 today (source).

That's why I'd rather live in regional Queensland (like my hometown of Bundaberg) where prices are cheaper than here in the big smoke. However, specialist medical services are not readily available there for my heart disease.

That's another thread ,but we Americans are tyrants who decide the price of freedom .

Expecting organization in govt ,that's asking too much.

Why have kids in the first place if you are just going to hand them over to strangers half the day to raise and educate them ?

That's what we do with public education. Do you object to children going to public (government) schools?

Do you expect all children to be home-schooled?

"public education" is actually glorified daycare to increase the labor force by 50% to force wages down through labor surplus. Then you have teacher's unions literally raping the public. And this daycare is "graduating" our young adults who spent 12+ years learning how to sit down and shut up into their futures with zero practical work or economic skills.

My you do have a beef with public education in your country! :sick

There are many good public schools in my country that prepare a student for work in the real world. I am one such person who was more than adequately prepared for university study and a job.

Are there blights on the system? Of course! But I get that in my refrigerator when I let the strawberries or caramel tart pudding go moldy. Duds don't mean the whole bunch is contaminated.

You didn't answer my question whether you believe all children should be home schooled.

I believe that the current "public education" in the USA is an indoctrination into political correctness and socialism.
When an alleged "educator" can get paid to tell children that there are more than two genders, it is no longer an education or a school. It is an indoctrination at a government brainwashing facility.

Creative has a point, overall there's more bad then good in public schools.we in america spend more to educate kids then we did in the 80s and the scores haven't risen.I don't blame the teachers fully as its also the parents .

Here's an intesting fact,in 1969 gifford high school was all black and had a 93 percent graduation rate ,vbhs which was around then and became the integrated school.the black rates dropped to 28 percent in one year.the parents didn't support their kids.

It's now after 20 years of a private group helping back up to 92 percent.

Of course.
When one signs on the dotted line, he's agreeing to all.
signs and raises his hand. the contract isn't legal in this case until signed and sworn in by the officer appointed to such as a task. all reenlistment contracts after that need not have that ceremony. I posted one of those ceremony of that with me in Afghanistan a few times here. the officer who performed that was over me but not in the Guard and wanted to swear me in.

public schools are a good thing, but they cannot compensate for family and social disintegration.
I'd say that public schools HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BE a good thing.
They can teach children to read, write effectively, do math, geometry, algebra, learn sciences, learn foreign languages and history and geography and music, etc.

But when they teach evil (such as encouraging kids to fornicate and experiment with homosexuality) then they become evil.

You must purge the evil from among you.

Maybe its because I grew up in The South, but I don't remember a whole lot of that. We just had the stuff you described, plus a couple AP classes for senior year Honors students. I don't see why so many people have problems w/ public education. --Any-- educational institution will also serve as a place of socialization into prevailing social norms. That's jut the nature of the beast.

All I'm saying is that a lot of the problems that we blame teachers and the public education system for are probably rooted in social decay.

mixture of both. the school does have to be a parent to those children who have no dads and that isn't a good way. they can also be positive in that. yet they can and have undermined proper parenting. I have a jaci story on that. one school simply gave up on her and called her the demon child. jaci is hard kid to deal with but to give up on her and to suggest Ritalin so easily? yet another school was willing to work with Jaci.
