So this guy with a car dealership has me get 2 vehicles for him driving his truck and trailer. I go get them i ask if the only way they can be loaded is legal they say go with it. I finally decide to stop because I'm tired and get a hotel because normally i would just drive straight through. And i call this motel and say her what's your rate and do you have room for a big truck and trailer. They say yes well help you park. Well they helped me back into a garage and now the guy who hired me hates me and is telling me i need to turn it into my personal insurance which I'm not doing and couldn't if i want to. All because some other guy hit stuff all the time on his own and 1 more and they get city of from their insurances. (I was not aware of this or I wouldn't even have agreed to do it). So this motel is upset saying i did it on my own and my boss is blaming anybody he can and I'm tired so i think I'll just go to bed.

Thats the world of business and money we live in. Just stay true to your witness and have a good nights sleep.

There are many circumstances this world will throw at us and it is just better to walk away from the drama and as kiwidan said: be true to yourself.

Technically speaking, you were on a job for your boss and under his flag. So even if it was your fault, it goes on his insurance. He can't force you to put it on your private insurance. The most he can do to you is to fire you.

I wouldn't worry about it. I would not put it on your private insurance.

If he was on thin ice with his insurance then he should have given you more info in the beginning.

Yup, as Edward mentioned you were representing the other guy's business, therefore would be covered under whatever insurance he has in place. Unless of course you did it on purpose, which from what you stated is not likely.

For the Motel, just leave the information for your company's contact and leave it at that.

More importantly, you had his permission to drive the vehicle in the first place, so he is liable for anything you do while driving it.
