I agree Pard. I don't see any Biblical nor scientific support for it.Pard said::biglolMujahid Abdullah said:are you equating those feelings to being a rodent or an insect of some kind in a former life?
It doesn't happen. That's the extent of my thoughts on reincarnation...
When I was a child I would stalk around the yard on the balls of my feet with my arms held close to my body and my pinky and thumb tucked into my palm. Doesn't mean I was once a raptor... I just wanted to be one
I'm not sure to be honest, but I don't think it supports reincarnation. If the Bible did, I am sure it would have been talked about more in it. So far that verse is all that I have seen that even suggests reincarnation.StoveBolts said:Many religions today from the more recent $cientology, to hinduism, to the Kabalist believe, and support the ideal of reincarnation.
That being said, how would ya'all interpret this verse?
Hebrews 9:27-28 And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this cometh judgment; so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.

Reincarnation is just the body dieing. Jesus would technically be the reincarnation of Yahweh. God placed his spirit into Jesus and Jesus came and died, but God's spirit is everlasting. The name Christ actually originates from the name of the Hindu God Krishna. Christ - Krishna. Krishna was the continuous reincarnation of the omnipresent God in human form. Every time Krishna would want to meet with us, he would reincarnate as an Avatar for us to comprehend.Pard said:I dunno.
Can God reincarnate Himself? He'd have to die first, right? He never died, perhaps a physical body He had been using died, but never the part that counts, the Spirit. Right?
jasoncran said:the difference tween our version of it and the hinduistic version is that only the one given a new immortal body will have flesh, those sent to hell wont be in a human like body since hell is for the tormenting of spirits

jasoncran said:heaven or hell, not the other version of live. die, and reform to a higher or lower form depending ones deeds.
jasoncran said:besided why does one want to accept something from religion that believes in castes and that killing the dalit is a good and honorable thing?
jasoncran said:the dalit are the lowest caste and are killed for just looking at the higher castes, they also arent educated.
If the Earth is Hell, and we are in a cycle of birth, rebirth, and death to obtain knowledge to ascend. Then that would be Buddhism. Though Siddhartha taught of a man in the west that would end the cycle Possibly Jesus, so reincarnation might have ended with the death of Christ.elmer d said:intereting views you got there guys..... hmmmm castes?
yah many religions believe in reincarnation too....
Maybe were old souls....we keep coming back to earth because we need to learn something before we get heaven..... And earth, earth is hell.
ahahahha i dunno just my view, i know its outside christianity.
