Top Ten List of the Week - Fears/Phobias People Have

Mike

Member
Let the games continue! Introducing the new Top Ten List this week.

(I'm not going to crown a champion as I did last week, because it can be a matter of members being on line at the right time. Not quite fair.)

Remember, the SAME RULES APPLY:
1. No cheating by looking for this or any other similar list that would give you an unfair advantage. This is on your honor.
2. Only 1 response per post, but you are free to post as many times as you'd like.
3. I'll post the link to the list when it is completed.
4. I'll fill in the list on this OP in the order that they are given.
5. I'll fill in Post #2 with wrong answers as they are given.

So, this week's Top Ten List is... Top Ten Fears (Phobias) People Have. A reminder that this is NOT my list. I'm just going with what this list I found said.

Mike, you'll probably appreciate this one:

Cats.

Can't understand it. Truly can't, but there it is! Some folks just have irrational fears...I mean really, to be fearful/hateful about cats, yet view a moth (shudder) as some "harmless" insect. Ugh!

And, right up there with moths (well, almost):

Clowns.

Seriously, aren't clowns the creepiest things?

Oh, and agoraphobia, at least I think this is how it's spelled...anyway, it's the fear of being outside.

Opps! Said snakes then saw that Sparrowhawke was on that one...

How about claustrophobia, being afraid of being in closed in areas...gotta admit to that one as well. Don't fence me in!

Sparrowhawke, we keep posting the same answers at the same time! Great minds, eh! :lol

Fear of dying!

My sister was afraid of jumping off newspapers but Handy mentioned fear of heights. My other sister was afraid of moths, but again, Handy has the one covered. My last (youngest) sister was afraid of dirt.

:nono2
I used to say, "Ahhhhh... Kathy? Look at me." Then would slowly dip my Three Muskateers candy bar into the dirt and take a bite. It would freak her out.

Fear of Dirt.
