I dunno ?‍♂️

I’m 39. My parents are 60s vibrant and healthy. I’ve been seeing mixed signals in the media lately….

Ditch the dye and go gray…you can wait to retire…embrace aging…this stuff is better than Botox…

And now a flurry of mainstream coverage of studies on substances that might help extend lifespan and reduce illnesses in humans. The latest is taurine. This inexpensive amino acid might boost health and extend lifespan. I actually already take taurine because higher doses have a calming effect without sedation or impairment. Hmmm…

So I dunno ?‍♂️ I’m trying to get my parents to up their antioxidant intake. Good diet not many supplements. On the broader scale I’m hoping that new research will make getting old a lot more comfortable but I’m also concerned that it might end up with some people not aging much till death and others only being given access to anti aging treatments if they continue working and consuming…

Ugh ? what do y’all think?

I tend not to worry too much about it, I do try to take care of my own body and mind (good diet and exercise for both), and I do encourage family and friends to take care of theirs, too,

but we live in a corruptible body,
pretty much looking forward to our next body :)
