TV Shows You Watch, but don't Necessarily Talk About.

I read Christian fiction and I am an avid reader. It might be "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers. It is historical fiction. The woman in the book is a prostitute. The man comes into her life who loves her so unconditionally it makes you cry.He is so kind and gentle to her.She had a horrible life.It is a book that I passed on to my daughter and she loved it as well.

I couldn't say for sure what my favorite book is, but I will admit that it is not the Bible.

I really like C. S. Lewis's work. I never finished his Space Trilogy, but what I did read was awesome. I couldn't put that first book down.

I have not seen much of TBBT past season three. I am waiting for later seasons to go on sale on DVD.

Have you ever read the "screwtape Letters" by C.S.Lewis?

I have. I have a copy of it on the shelf. It's...different. You might think it's :screwloose2 if you're not ready for it. It's about how to get Christians off of the narrow path...from a demons point of view. He's trying to teach his demon son or brother? how to do it. It's a good book and I recommend it.

There is a similar book on Satan by Randy Alcorn "Lord Foulgrin's Letters".It is good.

Haven't read the Screwtape Letters yet. I believe I have that on audio book...
There's so much to read and watch, I end up having to put a lot of stuff off for a good while. I probably do need to read allegories more often...in the past, they have been helpful in getting me back on track with God.

Eh, go ahead and read it, it's pretty good. It's like a bunch of letters that he wrote to his buddy, so it's actually a book that's easy to read some and come back to later to read more. Pretty thin too.

Screwtape letters - not only a VERY engaging read, but I believe it to be pretty much scriptural - even tho there is much we can't know for sure, I still think it is essentially accurate.

Lord Foulgrin's Letter - more of the same, VERY engaging reading.

I don't read novels or fiction much at all - but those two were great reads.

David Niven's "A world out of time" is my favorite (and only) sci-fi book.

Yep. C.S. Lewis always writes good books, and scriptural. :study

I'm thinking of writing a self-help book in a few years - after I see all of the results of my diet/stress/etc. changes I've made since my heart scare.

It seems I've found the miraculous cure for my andropause - who knows what else I will learn in the coming months. :)
