Too much emphasis on food and not enough on Christ.

But, what good are we to Christ when we kill ourself before time by eating & drinking habits?? Ecclesiastes 7:17 And, yes, the thought is that of 'wasted years' of no Loving service for my Master in death. A good diet even helps the sinner to stay around longer as the verse indicates, and who still could accept our Master if they are alive to do so, and if we are here to be useable. :fadein: .

I'm just not going to worry myself to death worrying about my food. Or working myself to the point of wasting time trying to eat "healthy" diets that most preach more readily than the gospel of Christ. :D

My great uncle lived to be 95 years old, the same year he quit farming. His diet consisted of bacon, eggs, ham, beef roast, chicken, pork, etc. He also chewed tobacco. I guess he was on the right diet.

I prefer to relax and eat the best I can - I had a severe post partum heommorage after the birth of one of my children - the last thing I should be on is a vegan diet ;) I need all the iron I can get.

But really - I don't care. I eat the best I can, and focus my attention on Christ. Can't go wrong :)

God does let us do as we desire, right??? Genesis 4:7
I have no problem with that myself.
