It's on that site.sellers.hmm I might to have to read up on him.peruse the commission. On of those is a descendent of the men who founded my town.

Kennedy groves.I haven't posted much about them but the oldest mainland golf club Is basically their child. Vbcc.I know they didn't start it but they were a big part of it. They are closed and like hale sold in stands.I know their last packing house was literally across from a hale stand .but I digress.enjoy my brief pm about big blue.
 
I've read some about the Kennedy groves. Could be there was a link to info about it on one of the links you had sent at some point.

I've never seen Big Blue in person....but I surely do appreciate Blue, especially the building it's in!

The story of Neaderthal DNA has interested me for a long time. Years ago it seemed to be accepted theory that Neaderthals and modern humans had not interbred, despite having lived in the same space in Asia and Europe for as much as 20,000 years. This always seemed unlikely to me, and now science is showing a small percentage of Neanderthal DNA exists in today's populations.

It's gone back and forth. In the late 60s, many scientists thought they were the same species as we are. Then, the consensus seemed to go the other way. The big issue was how little the two groups seemed to interact with each other. Neandertals were very conservative about their toolkit and artifacts, with little change over long periods of time. In Israel, at Mt. Carmel, it seems that thousands of years of mutual residence in the area didn't show at all in the tools and other things the two groups made.

Then the DNA analysis shows that there was indeed some interchange of genes. And now, we have some examples of Neandertals adopting some of the toolkit of Cro-Magnons.

It's postulated that the Great Leap Forward (the explosion in art, ingenuity and civilization) was the result of the interbreeding between Neanderthals and Homo sapiens. That the hybrid vigor applied to the advancement of intelligence.

(I'm a fan of Neanderthals, by the way)

I find it frustrating that some people's ethnocentrisms influence the continuing sage of Neanderthals.
