They at a yearly interval will display the vero man here at the heritage museum.something about human finger necklaces were worn by locals.I'm not to sure on that.

When I post images of the ais or the tequesta tribe if it's related to them .they were known to wear those.the tequesta were cannibals.the ais weren't but I'm not sure if they didn't trade fingers or jewelry

No,I haven't watched that. Hutchinson island runs from the bridge we call the Alma Lee loy to the place called Sewalls point.orchid island runs from there north.

My daughter once commented on the description of Neandertals as squatty, big-nosed, large-headed,muscular humans, with reddish hair and light skins.

She thought it was a pretty good description of me.

While that is an interesting video .it focuses just on the st Lucie river and what is near stuart and Jupiter but man the changes made by man and nature.if you were able to read names in spanish as I know the county of mine well and then.rio de ais is the Indian River now.also listed is the Cape canaveral and its briefly shown.

Sadly nothing of my area much.the old spanish maps and us army maps and surveys will have all those.I made out a few names as I was looking and knew what to look for.

There were a lot of changes between the past and the present.

I could read the Spanish names ... wasn't sure if if Rio de Ais was the current Indian River or not, though.
 
It is.the ays ranged from Brevard to Jupiter. Which is the cape to Jupiter.
 
The main relief canal and the south relief canal are easily visible without zooming in that map.these canals saved vero from the flood of 1920.fellsmere nor Sebastian were as lucky.at the time fellsmere was bigger then vero and Oslo
