Was Jesus a pacifist or a militant?

I would never follow someones rules that would make me what I am not. They would be man's rules not God's.

Well, if you are getting paid, you have to follow who ever paying you.

I guess I would have to quit or let them fire me then. Because I won't follow silly rules of man, like that I should only wear skirts (everyday even at my home,) I have no problem wearing skirts for church or Bible classes, in fact I enjoy wearing skirts, it's just not my belief that pants are immodest unless you make them immodest by wearing them too tight or too low.

Jesus was not a pacifist. Not at all.
Jesus words, Your either with me or your against me . Jesus in Luke 11:23
Jesus left no room for a middle ground.

Jesus in Matthew said that he did not come to bring peace but a sword Matthew 10:24

In Luke 22:36: Jesus tells his disciples "take your money and a traveler's bag. And if you don't have a sword, sell your clothes and buy one!

Why would Jesus tell them that. To cut apples or something. No, but to defend themselves. Jesus was not this sissy people think he is. There are many , many more verses and lest you are thinking I took them out of contex, study the passages for yourself.

Jesus was and is pacifist; He never killed nor harmed anyone.

You have to follow whichever denomination you are aplying for. You have to follow their theology they are following.

That is why there is so much confusion in the churches. Pastors are not free to preach whatever they want to preach. Paid Christians are bound to man-made rules.

Ghandi was a pacifist and didnt compromise either. Taking opposite sides is conflic, not violent conflict. Being a pacifist doesnt mean you let people walk on you, it means that you dont injure folks intentionally.

Jesus acted as a pacifist, but his words for the unbelieving were very militant.

The day is still coming where Jesus will wage war on the wicked one and claim his victory; but until then he is a pacifist who laid down his life for a greater cause than himself.

Or at least, that is my understanding.

Pacifist don't kill or harm anyone. If someone try to harm you or kill you just try to avoid it. Then God's will be done. If you or your loved ones get harmed or killed in the process, then you are martyered.

All secular society have military and they kill people in the name of justice and God. Jehovah and Jesus are not like those secular world.

Like the fact Jesus was both human and Divine, Jesus was both a pacifist and a militant.

He preached peace, but walked into the temple and overturned the tables of the moneychangers.

Another example is in Matthew 10:34...

"Do not think I have come to bring peace on earth; I have not come to bring peace but a sword"

Jesus spoke the truth and got angry but never killed nor harmed anyone. This is pacifist.

No I am not. But I know that they are ostrcized by most churches because of many biblical things they are practicing. They are pacifist like Jesus. They don't have any history of killing anyone using Jesus or God's name.

Ok cool
Do you believe in the deity of Christ?

I believe He is son of God and Lamb of God. We need Him for eternal salvation.

And I have been evangelizing since I became Christian. The New Testament is showing clearly our mission for God.

BTW, Christans who insist on the trinity don't seem to know exactly what we have to be doing as Jesus' followers. It is so strange.

By your answer, it sounds like you don't believe that God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are are all in the same / all equals. Am I right in my assumption. Please be clear.

I said very clearly. Are you looking for a loop hole to ostracize me too? Trinitarians are trained to ostracize non-trinitaians. No, I am not trinitarian if that's what you are asking. sheesh.
