We believe Mecca was founded where, ages ago, Adam and Eve reunited after their exile from the garden. They built the first mosque, or place to worship God, where the Ka'ba is today, a cubical structure -- it literally means"cube" -- the original form of which we date to Abraham. With his son Ishmael, who was also a prophet, Abraham erected a simple stone structure, the first House of God, and called humanity to come worship the Divine.

Who is "we"?
 
There are too many discrepancies between the bible and Islam's two books. Even without adding to it stories of Abraham and Adam and Eve. In the Old Testiment, God gave traditions and holidays to emphasize the history that Israel went through and the lessons He gave. It makes me a bit angry that all of that is counted as worthless and "croupted" by Islam, but they have new revelations of the past just to jump in and say how glorious they are?

I don't know of any hard verses in the quran that show how some of our favored people in the bible were human in their sins. But in the bible so many of them were. It's very humbling and keeps the glorifying of ourselves at bay. But in the quran it seems like stories are twisted to add glory to Muslim people, and places.

On the other hand though, I really don't know any verses of the quran. So they could exist. It just seems to shout untrustworthy though to me.
 
The Bible is inspired by God. The Quran is merely man's attempt to understand God. And understandably, it does no more than fallible humans can do.

Christianity is spread by preaching and by acts of mercy. (Like Mother Theresa) It is the teaching of Jesus, the Word made flesh.
Islam is spread by conquest, slaughter, oppression, pillage, destruction, etc. It is the teaching of Satan, the murder and liar.

Actually all of these things are signs that God sends us all, to show us that we are evil. There are ample external demonstrations of this, daily. When we see evil demonstrated in the external environment, it is showing us 'deeper' internal matters after the patterns that God Himself has set.

God quite purposefully deemed "Ishmael" to be against every man, and every man against him. And this is a Spiritual Fact that remains a Spiritual Fact to this day.

Genesis 16:
11 And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction.
12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.
13 And she called the name of the Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?

The question we should pose in this is who really is Ishmael? It is, in reality, our own flesh.

Gal. 4:
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

It' a hard thing to realize, but God is really against our own flesh. And this is demonstrated externally to the world, continually.

Galatians 5:
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

It is easy to know God as only Love, but I can assure myself that God is NOT the ally of my flesh or the flesh of anyone else. Obviously the intentions of God with the flesh are dramatically different than what we'd like to see. When we see "external Ishmael" it's just another pointer for us.

That would be ISIS that did do that. They also cut children in half and they burned people to death in cages. They also crucified Christians.
That being said, Islam is a political ideology first. It is not ecumenical, it is dictatorial. It also teaches that humans were created from blood clots.
Muhammad was an illiterate even though he started out as a merchant. The Qur'an was written down after he was dead, being it was an oral teaching prior to that.
Muhammad compiled the Hebrew religious texts and the Christian tradition teachings to create what he called Islam. Which translated from the Arabic, which is the true way to read the Qur'an in its proper context, means submission. Submission to the will of Allah, which is Arabic for god being that their god is one of 10,000 names.

There is a great book if anyone is interested and from a personal perspective about Islam. "Why we left Islam".
In some areas of the world that apostasy is punishable by death. Islam is not a religion of peace. That's the western propaganda to offset the conscious awareness of what is done in the name of allah.

God be with all Christians in the middle east.
 
Islam is actually not even a religion in the same sense as Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, etc. ..... Islam is rather a Terrorists Organization, hell bent on Death and Destruction. If you are not sure .... all you need to do is to read the Qur'an for yourself. There are plenty of scriptures in the Qur'an to prove that Islam teaches and promotes Moslems to hurt people .... steal their land ... steal their wives ... lie ... commit adultery ... rape ... torture ... and savagely murder.

Who was Mohammed (the prophet of Islam) ... ? If you really don't know, then find out ..... Do some serious reading and research .... and you see clearly who Mohammed really was ... He was a War Lord, nothing at all like Jesus Christ ... !!!

Mohammed was a Pervert, Pedophile ..... Rapist ... Thief ... Liar ... Demon Possessed and a Brutal Murderer. Nice role model, eh ... !!! NOT.
 
Mohamud was called 'the ear' by the pagans for adopting all the stories he heard for islamic purpouses. Its written in islams own sources. Many of the practices Mohamud adopted for islam were being used by the pagans. The pagans used to recite 'there is no god by allah', although there allah or 'god' was a different religion and walk around the kabba and kiss there gods and so on.

Kabba was home to over 360 gods. Muslims used to pray towards Jerusalem first then when the Jews rejected Mohamud as a Prophet he changed it to Mecca.

The Prophet (ﷺ) entered Mecca and (at that time) there were three hundred-and-sixty idols around the Ka`ba. He started stabbing the idols with a stick he had in his hand and reciting: "Truth (Islam) has come and Falsehood (disbelief) has vanished."

As you can see, Mohamud was very tolerant towards other religions, he was all for freedom of religion, just like islam today. Thats why no other religion is allowed to have there house of worship in Saudi Arabia. Islam is a religion of Peace and tolerance.

what did the pagans do?. They used to worship stones until they found a better stone and walk around it and worship it.

Amazing how at hajj they walk around the best stone and try touch it and kiss it because Mohamuds stone is the best stone.

We used to worship stones, and when we found a better stone than the first one, we would throw the first one and take the latter, but if we could not get a stone then we would collect some earth (i.e. soil) and then bring a sheep and milk that sheep over it, and perform the Tawaf around it. When the month of Rajab came, we used (to stop the military actions), calling this month the iron remover, for we used to remove and throw away the iron parts of every spear and arrow in the month of Rajab.


Even the 2nd highest Caliph knew kissing the stone was idolatry and only kissed it because Mohamud did it.

Sahih Bukari 1597
`Umar came near the Black Stone and kissed it and said "No doubt, I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit anyone nor harm anyone. Had I not seen Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) kissing you I would not have kissed you."
