For dinner tonight, a couple steaks, and an apple/bleu cheese/with cherry balsamic dressing salad and some creamed corn on the side...mmmm :)

I made the lasagna last night. Considering that it was my first attempt at making lasagna, it wasn't bad. Here's the menu for the week:

Sunday - Leftover lasagna
Monday - Leftover lasagna
Tuesday - Leftover lasagna
Wednesday - Leftover lasagna
Thursday - Leftover lasagna
Friday - ANYTHING besides leftover lasagna

That's the problem with living alone. It can be difficult to make only single servings of some things, so you end up eating a lot of leftovers.

I am trying to figure out what I want today, I would like some crabs, but I don't feel like driving to West Philly to get them.

TOG are you really going to eat that stuff for 5 days ?

No, I'm going to eat it for 6 days - Yesterday, today, tomorrow, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Of course, I guess I could put some of it in the freezer and eat the chicken or lamb that I just bought instead. Can you freeze lasagna? I've never tried freezing pasta before.

Yes you can. Frozen stuff is never as good as fresh but frozen for 2 months is better then 6 days....

I wonder if I can eat all these darn snails I step on or move out of the way to open water meter lids. shoot escargot is snail.

In that case, I think I'll freeze some of it and eat it over a period of a month or two.

Aside from the fact that they're not koser, and that they're slimy and gross and probably disease ridden, I don't see why not.

so are clams. and oysters. well even kosher fish is at risk of mercury. do we know where they are raised? mercury toxicity is high. these are land snails.

TOG, I was single for many years, believe me, the freezer and microwave are man's best friend, just nuke it, ...except for meat, reheat meat in boiling water on the stove.

i think there is more instructions needed here... boiled meat is not good unless it is chicken soup... then only simmered.. :confused2

I have to get away from cooking all this fried food again, before I clog my arteries and die. I had stopped eating so much fried foods, now I am back at it.
