I dunno. Now that I'm older, lots of stuff from the 90s that seemed so cool back then kinda irritates me. We have this one radio station here that plays some of it...sort of a mega-mix station...and I have to switch the station, especially when they play Cake or 90s female bands.

I know Cake from my kids listening to it.
They have some really good thick bass lines.

I can't sing. I make a joyful noise...something akin to a cross between a parrot and a St Bernard being strangled.

I stand in awe of all those who can though. I look at them in wonder of the magic which comes out of their mouths.

The inspiration and insight from their voices are a mystery to me.

I still can't sing.

I would love to be able to inspire others to go beyond their normal business and achieve pure passion for God...to go a little nuts...harmless but nuts for sure.

As it is so many people of note in scripture could sing...except for the Apostles. (Jesus cracked a joke about their voices too)

But I can't even hear the difference between a major or minor chord.
Never mind the sharp vx flat. My hands used to play the piano. I could play the notes but I still couldn't make music. It just isn't within me. I practiced the piano for 10 hrs every week. Two hours every weekday. Still couldn't find the music in me.

So I feel a bit like a huckster here in music city when I go to church. Mine just got voted #3 place to worship too. I think that placement has something to do with the passion displayed on stage every week.

Passion I got.

But I have no voice that can be hidden in a choir.
