Growth What Did You Learn In Church Today?

I havent been able to attrnd church for the last 3 Sundays. I was getting ready today and got called into work. Im on call thus week.

Its starting to seem like a spiritual attack. Always something.

We don't have a lot of arguing around here any more...
Been kinda nice just hanging out and talking about more fun topics.

True, but there's always room for some improvement in my book since unlike God none of us are perfect. I want you guys to listen to this song and see if you can get the message of it. You have to squint and read between the lines a bit, but I think that this guy has pretty much got life nailed to a science.

Well today was a good message in church even if I wasn't a hundred percent thrilled with who was preaching it as I just told Tessa. Anyways it was all about how sometimes through our actions we start becoming lost but Jesus is always there to find us again. :cross So yeah, it was a beautiful message and there is no such thing as a perfect church but this one comes awful close imho. :thumbsup (sorry, I don't mean to brag :lol)

Well, I can't post the song/music video that was one of the songs that we sung today until I get to my laptop since I'm currently not home right now, but this morning in church the message was all about how we all fall short of the glory of the Lord but He still wants a relationship with us and because of that He has made a way through His Son Jesus Christ. :cross

We learned about humbling oneself from Luke 5. We learned that the centurion who was worthy to have his servant healed, humbled himself by knowing he was not worthy when it came to Jesus.

Well we had a wonderful sermon in church this morning and this time there was a woman preaching it. Now me being a woman myself of course I'm not sexist, it was just a really new experience for me and I have to say that she did a fine job of preaching the message which was all about how when we truly become saved the way we act (like being kind, having self-control, patience etc.) towards one another really should change as well. :)

Sounds like a great lesson!

We learned about putting things in God's hands :-)
