What do you do when you get angry?

I dont get angry, instead i get even. Haha, just kidding

When I get angry, I generally stop talking, and reduce the number of words I use. I refrain from driving the conversation to quietly listening, trying to see things through the eyes of others.

Jesus got mad, and in his anger, he told a man with a shriveled hand to stretch it out, which enraged some around him. The point being, he used his anger to heal a man.

I don't always succeed, but I try to use my anger to make things better, and I'm learning to speak truth in love, because when we speak truth without love, it's just the clanging of post and pans.

Very good advice! :clap

I just recently discovered that I have a new tactic for dealing with my anger. Praying about it and that God will give me the strength to be patient and be able to deal with it and it really helps. :cross

Chuck tools, curse the idiot who built that.rant about killing the man ,his family.

Lol.I don't have a temper.

Anger releases many things into the blood stream.

If we do not watch out we become addicted to the anger rush. After years I discovered I was addicted to anger. I looked for things to be mad at.

My sister gave me a book that included a section on endorphins. Oh wow the downer side of adrenaline.

Then I had to repent of depression with its blood stream stuff.

We / I need to nip anger before the sun goes down. All these things floating around in us must cause long term issues.

Now on to what I think is close to this conversation. A root of bitterness must be fed by all this.

Redneck with very few letters after his name, and none qualify me on this subject.

what do you do when you get angry to calm yourself down? I find that doing Yoga relaxes me. :)
If it isn’t me you’re mad at, would you consider hanging suspended by your heels until the blood overwhelming your sense of well being was in jeopardy, survival becomes more important than retaliation that even sitting posed as a lotus flower next to Yoda doesn’t relieve.

I imagine parachuting out of a plane where you throw the parachute out first, then jump after it attempting to catch up to it before you hit the ground would be another way.

Crying and venting seem to be short lived solutions; most shortly return with no perceived improvement. Swimming in a hungry shark tank might also put anger far from you. :shrug

PS - passing gas is always a relief.

I vague post about it on online in a place where most people can't find it or know who I am :blush

Everything you said here was absolutely hilarious but that is the statement that killed me. :hysterical Although I thought that we weren't allowed any bathroom humor?

I throw a fit like a two year old at God. I tell him you are going to have BOTTLES and BOTTLES of my tears :angry3

Hmmm but then again, God is probably massive, so I can safely assume that his tear bottles are huge too, invisible of course.
