Here are some more scriptures for us to consider in this regard.
14 The stones were corresponding to the names of the sons of Israel ; they were twelve, corresponding to their names, engraved with the engravings of a signet, each with its name for the twelve tribes.

The breast piece was worn upon the heart of the high priest with a back plate that was join with chains to the front plate holding the engraved gem stones. These two plates formed a perfect cube encompassing his heart.
New Jerusalem is also a perfect cube.
Rev 21:16 The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width ; and he measured the city with the rod, fifteen hundred miles ; its length and width and height are equal.
