What God Wants

Jesus is real and alive

Jesus was very specific.

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
That's why if you believe in Jesus, seek Him true to your heart and your soul so that you may experience Jesus in a way that is being portrayed in the bible. Jesus is our salvation and eternal life, our Good Pastor and Teacher, our Almighty God who is alive and real, and our only hope to be freed from sins. Let us worship Him as to how Jesus really does exist in His own way (which is the Truth) and not by how we understand what we only read, The real and alive Jesus can talk and teach to us all the things that we need in order to attain our own salvation and etenal life, a thing that the bible cannot do nor give us this day.

Amen Mutz. We will all be saved who believe the gospel, but not just the hearers of the gospel, but the doers shall be saved.

Gods wants us to believe the gospel and follow it to salvation.

What is the gospel? The gospel is written at least four times in the Bible. The gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Yes, Spirit Driven, the will of God is quite obvious but some are oblivious to what it means to come to a knowledge of the truth or to believe the gospel. :fadein:

May I ask you this question, is the gospel that you are talking above the Almighty Lord God Jesus Christ himself?

Who are we to believe, the Almighty Lord God Jesus Christ himself or the gospel of Matthew, Luke, Mark, and John?

The Scripture speaks for itself no matter what translation of the Bible is used......

Should this be true, then we should not have these different denominations, teachings, and doctrines today which are only formulated by men out of the bible or the scriptures that you are saying. This statement is a big lie and deception because only God can speak to us the truth about the scriptures, not you, not me, not them, not even the scriptures no matter how God-breathed it is as many are claiming it to be of such nature.

Paul was called as an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God (1 Corinthians 1:1).
The Lord opens the heart to respond to the things spoken by Paul (Acts 16:14).

I prefer to believe that scripture speaks for itself..... and that religion...the man made denominational side of it.... lies.

Peace to you

The written word of the Almighty Lord Jesus Christ himself is not different from the spoken word by the Holy Spirit to our hearts. The gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John contain the teaching of Christ that are words of life to those who follow them.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Guys..... I think there is somthing we should consider here.
Even the Disciples did not fully understand the consequences of Jesus birth death and ressurection.

God had a hidden agenda that was soon to be revealed to all men...including the remaining 11 disciples.

Our God is awesome, he wanted no man left in any doubt at all about this agenda.... so he chose the last person on Earth you thought you would hear this from.....no less than the foremost of all sinners... the persecutor of the faithfull..... Saul of Tarsus.... the message was and still is today....

The Gospel of Grace.

Peace to you all

Luke 24:26-28 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Jesus had already revealed what he wanted his disciples to teach. His resurrection proved he had the power he had claimed he had and that his message could be trusted and believed and followed with the result being everlasting life to those who obey. Grace is the act of having the Son of God dying for those who deserve death, and providing a way that they can be forgiven. The blood is free to us but not without our dying to sin and making him Lord will it save us. We are saved from sin, not so we may sin without consequences. The message has not changed or been hidden. The gift of God is eternal life for those in Christ. The wages of sin is death.

Paul's message is the same message Jesus and the disciples taught.

What God wants?

He wants every one to be with Him in His kingdom although not everyone chooses to do so.

peace :D

Not quite... the Holy Spirits testimoney via Paul, was that there was now no condemnation.... at all... for any person not only in Christ Jesus, but because of Christ Jesus for every person.
That Gods will was that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

The most important aspect of the holy spirits testimoney via Paul was that All people will know the salvation of the Lord... sooner or later.

Sooner or later is the key to Pauls Gospel..... he was chosen by God to deliver this teaching to the Nations as the foremost of all sinners, as the example for all how nobody will be lost to GOD.

Oh there will be judgements all right.... but in the end at the consumation of Gods plan, he will wipe away all tears not because he gave his people frontal lobotomies, but because nobody missed out on eternal happiness with the Lord..... and all the Glory for this will go to GOD! and to GOD ALONE!

Grace and Peace to you

Would it be a great sin for anyone to call on, come direct to, and believe in God himself rather than believing the scriptures itself via men's own understanding? Isn't it that God is more and greater than the scriptures?

Scorpia - may I ask you, what do you say the gospel is?
The gospel is the testimony of God to mankind which deals with the reality of the existence of God in His own way so that whoever may read it may call on, come direct to the Lord God in the right way and have God as their only Good Pastor and Teacher in their whole life so that they may attain salvation and eternal life from the Lord God himself and not from the gospel.

The gospel that you are talking about only testifies to us the reality of the existence of God and there is no life in it whatsoever because life or eternal life is in God himself whom we should call on and come to directly for us to have eternal life.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Did the Lord God Jesus Christ personally uttered this command to you "unred typo"?
John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
All denominations are using this verse and no one from among them can tell in detailed account how the Holy Spirit is teaching them, can you this time "unred typo"? How did the Holy Spirit introduce himself to you and how sure are you that it is the Holy Spirit who teaches you now?

Did the Lord God Jesus Christ say that He chose Paul as the last person on Earth to whom mankind would hear God's Word? What about after Paul's death? Did God instructed Paul to tell the people that mankind will just study and learn things of God directly from the bible itselfj? Isn't it that even without the bible, God can teach us all the original contents of the real and authentic Holy Scriptures which God allowed men to have it be written?

Again, did Jesus say that Paul is the last person on earth with whom all the people may hear the "Word of God"?

Nice point but how can we do this in our actual life today? Is it by studying and learning from the bible itself or by calling on and coming to direct to the Lord God Jesus Christ himself so that He (Jesus) himself will become our only Good Pastor and Teacher of the TRUTH in our life today?

Scorpio wrote: The gospel that you are talking about only testifies to us the reality of the existence of God and there is no life in it whatsoever because life or eternal life is in God himself whom we should call on and come to directly for us to have eternal life.

The written word of Christ is the same word that he spoke while he taught how to inherit eternal life:
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Matthew 7:24 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."

These words are recorded for us to read in Matthew 5 through 8 in one place, and scattered in throughout the other gospels. In most Bibles all his words are written in red. It is the same word that the Spirit of God has written on our hearts and speaks to us daily, saying to love, forgive, obey, be humble, be merciful, be truthful, don’t gossip, don’t lust, don’t judge others, give to those in need, be thankful, confess our sins and trust in his blood to cleanse us completely.

You missed my point completly....., so I will spell it out for you.

Paul was called as an Apostle of Christ by God, because God wanted to show an example of how nobody would be lost to him.

Saul of Tarsus was a persecutor of those who believed in Jesus, Saul was the sort of person todays Hell preachers would declare is going to burn in Hell forever.

Saul of Tarsus did not come to Jesus willingly, God bent him to his Will but he did with Grace, Saul was overwhelmed by the grace of God through Christ Jesus..... one day so will all the remaining die hard non believers in Jesus.

Grace and Peace to you

You don't make sense scorpia. Eternal life is not attained by anything that man can do. Salvation is by faith - which is a gift from God.

You seem to be advocating something different while showing little regard for scripture.

You should have focused your attention to John 5:40 which clearly states where and who the rewarder of eternal life is, it is the Lord Jesus himself who said in verse 39 that people only think that eternal life is in the scriptures, but in reality, we must come to Jesus himself for us to have eternal life which only Jesus can give to the true believers.
