Whoa there...I'm just saying that I read the Farber book and some Duesberg and I find it all very fascinating. Seems like billion$ have been spent, and nobody's cured. Big Pharma makes money, the gay community keeps on with the promiscuity and heavy drug use, and we're all trying to find and cure this virus that's supposedly the problem. I mean, think about the sheer level of funding AIDS research and treatment have received. Then think about the rather dismal results. We're supposed to believe that with more money, more awareness, etc., this death virus will be eradicated. What if the virus isn't the problem?
African AIDS, from Farber's perspective, is more a syndrome of poverty than anything else. Clean water, improved nutrition, and basic health care and education would do more for African "AIDS" than HAART cocktails and AZT. Problem? Those are social issues. Declaring all these various health problems "AIDS-related" helps gloss over the incredible level of inequality and oppression one sees in the world today.
