Just by thinking that you want to go back and forth between matter and spirit?What would you do?I would transfer my power to kids that have always wanted to be like casper.:)Also i would scare bullies into stop being bullies by levitating them and whispering into their ears to stop being a bully.(nothing to mean just something to stop the bullying:wink)On second thought i would just whisper in thire ears and make them know for sure it was a ghost doing it because if i lift them into the air i might drop them.:sad

I knew that already:)But i have been an atheist for quite some time now.But i still like the bible because it is nice to read about because jesus sounds like such a nice person and i love christian songs.:)
 
It sounds to me like you are a little conflicted. Though I would suggest staying clear of these kinds of topics on this site.
 
As a guest of these Christian forums paying attention to our rules and ideals would be a good idea... :)
 
I didn't want to bring this up but at one point i got into magic and thought i had powers in my dreams i don't know if it worked but that was a long time ago and that was before i became an atheist.And i still don't believe in god because my dad went through this and it effected me greatly.:sad
 
Went through what, exactly?

BTW, you sound more like an agnostic than an atheist.

Also, there is no such thing as magic. Yes, you may be able to do things in a dream, but nothing like that is possible in the real world.
 
Did you read my post?In the post you are referring to i said my dad went true a time of doubting god and it got to me.Every since then i have been doubting god.:sad
 
What brought you here Frank?

You're an atheist. Why become a member of a site where the focus is on something you don't believe in?
 
Frank, when one doubts God then they truly never knew him to begin with.

John 1:1 in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2 the same was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3 all things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:4 in him was life; and the life was the light of men.
John 1:5 and the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

That light in verse 5 is Jesus. Never go by what another may doubt for doubt is nothing more than unbelief. All Jesus wants is for us to have a personal relationship with Him and to get to know him and how much he loves us. It's like when you meet someone for the first time. You really do not know much about them, but the more you learn who they are they may become your best friend. It's the same with Jesus. He just wants us to know who he is in hopes of us becoming his friend. Any relationship starts with one step, but it's up to you to take that step. I would suggest your first step is to read the book of John in the Bible with an opened mind as it will show you who the person of Jesus is. Feel free to ask questions as many of us will be here for you.
