thanks for the replies.. What am i going to do about it?...thats the question..do i join in with the thieves telling lies to the flock or do i keep out of it. What cost? gathering yourselves together to upbuild but it's not possible to swim against the tide...the tales they tell have already entrapped the flock...Jesus loved his brothers ...would he love them if they harmed each other and did it in his name? People have committed suicide after being told they are not healed because they lack enough faith.. do these viper leaders understand faith is a gift from God...do they care? They want childish unquestioning Sunday morning gatherers. Childlike is one thing but childish is another. They give out healing on demand telling The Holy Spirit what he is to do...shall I share in this act. Act being the best word to describe some circus gatherings. NO I will stay away not because i have any dislike of my brothers but the place has been dirtied by the actions of the shepherds and the one true shepherd is the only one who can now sort it out
There's another option, one that I chose, believing it to be according to God's ordering for the assembly. I don't go to a church, but I gather with a group of Christians at a plain, unadorned meeting room in a town near where I live. We are connected, 'in fellowship' with similar groups of Christians all over the world, and we walk together in fellowship because we share the same Scriptural principles. We have no appointed pastor or minister, because we know this to be un-scriptural and restrictive to the movements of the Holy Spirit. Any man who is breaking bread with us is free to take spoken part in the service of God in the breaking of bread, in our meetings for mutual inquiry into the Scriptures, in our meetings for prophetic ministry, in our meetings for prayer and thanksgiving, and our meetings for practical care of the Lord's interests. All men who are breaking bread may be called upon to preach the gospel. Women are silent in the assembly, according to Scripture, but bring, in their spirits, vital impressions to the meetings. Accordingly, we hold that it is irregular to have a meeting in any place if there are no sisters present, because something would be lacking from the service of God.
We choose to be separate from iniquity, and therefore, to our great sorrow, we don't feel it's right to break bread in any other place than with those with whom we are in fellowship. Thus, we strive to maintain the purity of the service of God. If any one among us is walking in a disorderly way and not according to scripture, we reason with them and present them with the scriptures. If they continue indefinitely to refuse to obey the Word of God, we feel we can no longer break bread with them, and withdraw from them.
As a company of believers, we have our faults and imperfections, but I feel we have something very precious. There is boundless love amongst us, we enjoy happy fellowship and the teaching is very sound. Here, you wouldn't get the watered-down religion of the churches, nor the emotive displays. Our meetings are quiet, but charged with the energy of the activity of Holy Spirit amongst us, which brings forth passionate responses in prayer and worship.
My advice to you
ivorhughjarse, is to seek out a company of these simple Christians, worshipping in Christian simplicity.
We have many localities throughout the UK, and though I don't want to appear partisan, I can guarantee that you'd be welcomed at any of them.
