I was answering your quest concerning Abraham's bosum.Wasn't part of what parable?
You are going far astray of the teachings. The one that began in the previous chapter in a series of five . No man can serve two good teaching masters as one lord .
Simply God protecting the integrity of his living word the riches unto salvation.
Can't serve God, and serve sin too. Can't serve the oral traditions of men as the wisdom of this corrupted world called Mammon, and the wisdom of God "sola scriptura" all things writen in the law and prophets . God defending his living word that works in al born agin from abaove word.
I don't agree. The beginning of the series Chapter 15 using sheep to represent the wisdom of God, then the riches of the woman who lost one of the whole (ten) then parable the rich father waiting for the return The parable of the waiting long sufferings Father
Where are you getting that "good teaching masters"?Then chapter 16 continuing uses in a parable a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
All having the same conclusion. No man can serve to good teaching masters ,the word of God (sola scriptura) and the oral traditions of dying mankind
You really can't see that the two masters in question are God and sin ?Luke 16:1316 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God (sola scriptura) and mammon.(the wisdom of this world under the god of this world) And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.(the law and the prophets)
