atrhick, I am sorry we got a little side tracked.
We should have made another thread concerning the evidence for the chain of papacy, and if Peter had a role in it.

I appreciate your creative approach to church definitions~ COOL DUDE 8-) ~ thou these may be too few and generalized to be very helpful in ascertaining ones actual church type today. I would say that my own fellowship though it is focused primarily upon salvation of souls and discipleship of the body has a few of the traditional and resort flaws within it as well.
Perhaps you were only defining the core beliefs and actions of ones church? I guess many would say theirs was a solid soul winning and discipling fellowship. Even the "seeker friendly" churches feel they have these aspects. Many cults are those who seek to "save souls into their fold", and it is also true that they continually indoctrinate their fellowships thru intense studies. Every "church" indoctrinates its followers today, even the TV church of evangelcal preachers do the same.
So I guess I am wanting is a more defined and realistic example to compare Jesus' church against the church in the world. Got one? :D
