show me Jesus or Christ in Isa 53?Brother you are making up things out of thin air.
Phillip taught the Eunuch from the scriptures. As an unbeliever Phillip used the very scripture the Eunuch was reading at that moment to reveal Christ to Him.
He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 53:3-6
who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
1 Peter 2:24-25
No Pope or Bishop or Catholic Priest or Catechism ever taught me who these scriptures were referring to.
Did Peter ever mention these scriptures were referring to Christ?
there was no new testament until 40 years after Philip and the eunuch and after Paul and the bereans
