What's wrong with right wing politics you ask?

What about women who's husbands abandoned them and their children? They don't choose to go outside the home to work and send their kids to daycare. They have to. Is it a leftist idea that they should be able to support themselves?

The TOG
Thus the need for a family to be able to live on a 40 hour a week paycheck without Uncle Sam's help.

Maybe not but I have more hair on my head than you do.
How do I know that?

And are you suggesting that little hair is not handsome?
My wife recently snapped this candid photo of me...

(The beer belongs to an unbeliever I was witnessing to.)

May I ask, what power do you personally think you have lost, or do not have that you think you should?
It's not just me and my family that I am concerned about.
But I know that we struggle on one income and we pay too much in federal income taxes that don't do anything but get wasted in DC. And the loop holes in tax law do not benefit all people across the country. Washington does know the word frugal, it doesn't exist in their vocabulary.

I'm at the mercy of voters across the country who are not like minded or don't even pay attention to the issues. At least if the majority of laws are made in my state I can be up close and personal with other people to hash these things out and vote where my vote actually has leverage, up close and personal with my representatives.
ie. A few years ago a young man was laid off for the winter. He had been waiting weeks for his first unemployment check. He'd call, be put on hold for an hour and then dismissed with a "We'll check it out." When he told me about it, I picked of the phone and called the Governor's office, explained the problem. His secretary said she would handle it. Within an hour she called back, problem solved and he had a check for all weeks back owed to him within 4 days.
Try calling DC and see how far you get, even if you call your congressman or senator. Most of them get off in DC and they forget about the individual voter who voted them into office to start with.

Women's rights groups endorse it, but actually it was WWII that got women in the work place.

While men were off on foreign soils fighting the war, Rosie Riveter worked a 60 hour week at the local bomb manufacturing plant in place of the man who wasn't there to do it.
There was a women's lib movement and they are left.

You have laid blame on the 40+ hour work week onto the right wing corporations, yet where I live we have very large corporations and they all stand on left wing politics:
Boeing - endorse Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton - all the dems
Amazon - spend billions of $'s supporting lesbian and homosexual lifestyles
Microsoft - Bill Gates is the worst of the worst as far as left goes, he's the guy Obama eats dinner with and he holds those $20,000 a plate dinners for him -at his home of course.
Google - yes, left
Warren Buffett - need I say more

These are the guys who employees are slaves to......all left.

You misunderstand. I lay the blame for a 40 hour paycheck not being able to support a family on the right because they are the one's who's ideology demands that it do that, not the left's.

The TOG
This is all caused from the left's women's lib.

Connect the dots, use Jethro's example, everyone on the same street makes the same income, but through in a wife who isn't satisfied raising her own child, she goes to work, their income goes up, prices go up, other women have to work to make ends meet, family units start falling apart because it's all about money now and not about family life. Kids grow up, they become unsupervised, they come home alone, no one to greet them, they go hang out with buddies, no one has supervision, they get into trouble and the cycle begins and repeat. Parents fight, they are stressed, their kids are wild, lets buy them things to make up for it, kids feel entitlted, parents are stressed, they get divorced, family income plummets, turn to welfare.

What is the answer? Go back to living on one person income - somewhere anywhere. I know people who have left the area they live in order to do this. Businesses will soon realize we're not willing to pay their prices anymore. The problem is everyone would have to be on board but too may people are too concerned about material things.

But I just gave you several names of big time CEO's that require their employees to be slaves so they themselves can live as miliionaires and billionaires. This is the problem, but because the mainstream media has blamed the right for this, everyone believes it's because of the right but it's not - these people are big time deomcrat supporters. Why? because they're getting rich off of the slaves they hire.

Like I said in my last post, everyone needs to stop being the consumers that we are. Buy only what we need, not all what we want.

lol.
Well, you'll just have to take my word for it, Girl Scout's honor.
My dh doesn't have much hair left on his head but he says that is because ''grass doesn't grow on a busy street.''

Microsoft - Bill Gates is the worst of the worst as far as left goes

Bill Gates isn't chairman of Microsoft any more. While he was, he was a businessman and did whatever was good for his business, whether that was supporting the Democrats or the Republicans. As for which party supported Microsoft, during Clinton's administration, the government was suing Microsoft for violating anti monopoly laws. Microsoft had already been found guilty, and all that was left was the sentencing phase (which had to be repeated because the judge messed things up). One of the first things Bush did after he took office in January 2001 was to let Microsoft off the hook.

Ummm....yeah I know he isn't chairman, but don't be fooled again, he is still involved....it's how he keeps getting richer and maintains it. lol

Bill Gates is LEFT and so is Microsoft, their employees, all of it.....believe it......I live here. So is Amazon, Google, Boeing, Starbucks, Nordstrom, Tully's Coffee, all supporters of left wing politics....all in the Pacific Northewst and all drive up prices requiring a 2 person income.

This is a highly left wing politics state, we have same sex marriage and we just legalized marijuana. Seattle has an outspoken self-declared socialist/communist governor.

So men never abandoned their families until women's lib destroyed the family and forced the husbands to be jerks? Sorry, but I'm not buying that.

No, let's use another example. Imagine if there were no women in the workplace. All women stayed at home taking care of their husbands and children. Women wouldn't go to college or trade school and wouldn't know how to do any job other than housework. Now imagine that a man gets tired of his wife and decides to find someone younger and prettier. He abandons his family and goes to live with his new girlfriend. The now single mother has no source of income, since her ex husband refuses to pay child support. In the perfect right-wing world there would, of course, be no welfare in any form. This woman and her children would be forced to beg or starve. Do you really think that's a better situation than the one we have? Because some men are total jerks, women have to be able to support themselves.

Then there are also women who choose not to get married or have kids, but remain single. Shouldn't they have the right to work and support themselves and be able to live of their single income? Would you rather have a situation where women had to get married to survive?

The right has to have someone on their side!

A greater amount of money goes to the left.

I suppose if you think that having a 2 person income hasn't caused families a whole lot of trouble then I can't help you go ahead and continue to believe this system is set up for the best for all involved and kids coming home without supervision is what's best. After all, I don't have children and maybe it's ok, but in my experience of not having parents home - it was a disaster.
