Where is God?

I know I kinda winced when I did it. I just got through talking to my mom and reading people discuss fear of God on here. He has a sense of humor, right? Luckily no one really seems to be here to pounce. Kind of a dry spell on here it seems. Where did abide go? She used to make about as many topics as you and now you stand out.

Well are you sure you wouldn't rather get to the bottom of your compulsive topic making? We might really uncover some deep seated issues here.

Anyway good question. I have heard God is omnipresent. Yet he was in Solomons Temple. He is in Heaven where he is worshipped constantly.

Omnipresent would be a perfect answer. But God doesn't dwell in the midst of filth. If God is in heaven...where's our heaven? That makes me think neither God nor heaven is physical.
 
I have heard God is everywhere but he is seperate from creation. In that God is not in a rock or something.

What if there is no up and it's actually down; why would anyone want to go there? Is up only by definition the opposite of down?

Hebrews 8:1 We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens. Let's figure this out. If heaven is up, and Jesus sits at the right hand of God up there, that must mean God is there also. God is up. :thumbsup

How can a person learn if they don't ask questions? Nothing wrong with asking questions. They're good questions and comments he comes up with :yes

There's the third heaven where God is on his throne, the second heaven where all the spirits are like angels and evil spirits, and the first heaven which is our atmosphere.

I was wondering if you fell off the end of the world of something :lol . I hadn't seen you around, then saw you were only talking about ball games; or maybe you weren't here and was just playing ball games.
