Where is God?

Sure everyone has a role to play. My role is to keep him grounded lest all these good comments go to his head :)

Well I think that's better than the threads where people are fighting and arguing, staying out of strife, you know. ;) We're just talking about him like he's not here LOL.

Classik are you here? WHY are you always invisible??????

There's the third heaven where God is on his throne, the second heaven where all the spirits are like angels and evil spirits, and the first heaven which is our atmosphere.
Interesting indeed. Have you read about the seventh heaven???

I was wondering if you fell off the end of the world of something . I hadn't seen you around, then saw you were only talking about ball games; or maybe you weren't here and was just playing ball games.
yeah. There was an international break - and every arena is empty. Boring 2 weeks :sad

invisible? No one sees me and lives

Where is God, really?.
Clearly heaven isn't 'up' because 'up' actually means everywhere else other than earth. 'Up' is of course in every possible direction 360deg x 360deg. We can see billions of miles in every direction and there is nothing physical to see. The ancient notion of heaven being 'up' was accompanied by the clear belief that, if we could fly, we could fly up to heaven. We know better now.

I predict that, one of these days, some religion based 'scientist' is going to claim that 'dark matter', which is invisible yet theoretically makes up about 25% of the universe, is in fact heaven (remember I said it first:approve).

I prefer to think of heaven as being in a different plane of reality, rather like the virtual reality that Classik lives in - but that can't be right - can it :chin I mean, he does set some interesting challenges for us :o

(PS Many different figures are quoted for the dark matter %. I do not want an argument over that)

"Men of Galilee," they said, "why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!"

how about this?

for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

God is in you!

God is in the breeze that rustles the leafs, God is in the sunshine of the day or the storms that come our way. God is on the mountain top and in the lowest valley. God is at the door of your heart knocking, will you let Him in?
