White police vs. American blacks

Why do the cops feel so frightened and threatened by an unarmed black man walking away from them that they end up shooting them
He was a violent offender who had a warrant for his arrest.
Law enforcement is paid to serve and execute warrants.
You don't let them walk, you bring them into custody as required by law.
If they had let him walk his next violent rape or attack would be on them.
If we were talking about a tiger or a lion roaming the streets we would not question the use of force at all. WE WOULD EXPECT IT.

"...like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed..." - 2 Peter 2:12

Anybody who acts like a beast--locked in the unreasoning nature of his violence--should be treated like a beast.
We don't trust lions and tigers and bears to roam our streets. Neither should we trust people who have demonstrated their inability to respect the lives of others roam our streets.

but when a white kid armed with an assault rifle walking towards the cops after just shooting people, the cops did not feel threatened, nor were the frightened. Why is this?
As far as they could see the white kid wasn't breaking the law.
And even if they did stop to arrest him I bet he would not have resisted with violence. Bet.

Not to mention that letting him walk undermines the authority of law enforcement. Like I said earlier, might as well hire the Keystone Cops to enforce our laws and then wait for the outcry for law and order.

I see you conveniently ignored the real question, but who care about the white kit right? I mean...

You see Jeff, that goes both ways. Respect would be answering the question I asked of you. I asked you to look at the forest. You keep pointing to a single tree stump.
That gives you no excuse to speak rudly to me. I have not used disrespectful words at you. I have not accused or attacked your personality in any way.

Some topics can become heated. I've been on this site since 2004 so I know this all too well. The disrespectful words you use cause strife. I'm not looking for strife with you brother so please do not abuse my grace.

As far as looking at the stump, it is part of the forest. If we don't understand the role the stump plays in the forest, we will not have an accurate picture of the forest.

Why do the cops feel so frightened and threatened by an unarmed black man walking away from them that they end up shooting them,
I am not s police officer, so I cant speak for them. But I will say this, your question is rhetorical and your not looking for an answer. What your looking for is for me to agree with you.

That being said, here is my take.
I am sure some police officers have no business being police officers. I would even go as far to say that some police precincts have had poor leadership with inadequate training for officets which has resulted in the unjustified killing of subject through the abuse of authority.

But I would also say this. If a person is aggressive and has a criminal background of being aggressive, then the police should be a bit frightened because their life is literally on the line. There are many cases where officers are killed in the line of duty from criminals who were intent on killing the officer.

This brings us back to the stump.
Was the officer justified for being fearful of his life? I conclude yes, he should have been fearful.

Why?
1. Mr. Blake told officers he had a weapon in his car at the beginning of this conflict.
2. Mr. Blake resisted arrest on an outstanding warrant.
3. During Mr. Blake's attempt to resist, he became violent with the officers. Mr. Blake was Tased twice which had zero effect on him.
4. Mr. Blake was able to out wrestle the officers and went to his car. He did not attempt to sit in the driver's seat. I stead, Mr. Blake reached for the weapon he previously told the police he had.

Taking the situation at hand, we have to make an informed decision to answer the first part of your question.

A. Is this a situation where the officer was a bad apple or was the effect of systemic mismanagment from his superior?
B. Is this a situation where the officer acted within his authority and protocal to protect his own life and the lives of others.

As you have asked me a question, I will now ask you. What scenereo do you see this officer in. Is it A or B.

I will now attempt to answer the second portion of your rhetorical question.

I do not know about this incident. Can you please send me a link?
I would also ask you this. Did this incident occur with the Kenosha police force, or even within Wisconsin? Or did it occur in another state?
I'm asking because I want to give you an honest answer.

This is the first, second and third question that need to be answered before you go looking at the hatchet marks on the tree stump.
We think very differently in this area. I agree that we have to look at the big picture. The big picture helps us get to where we want to be. For example, I want this site to show the world we are United, even though we have differences. But to get there, we need to know the building blocks required to get there.

Unity starts with a unified core and commitment to make things better. As we learn and grow, we have an opportunity to take accountibility for our words and actions. This means we don't brush our mistakes away. Instead, we admit them and grow.

If we get so fixated on the big picture that we only see the forest, then we are not really looking for unity. In reality, we are only forcing ourselves on others demanding uniformity.

I uniformity is not always a bad thing, and it is a tool for unity, but if all we are seeking is uniformity, then unity will never occur.

Yes, black lives matter and we need to listen to their cries. Yes, racism is alive and well in the USA, but if we're only looking at this from a high level only seeking uniformity, then anyone who sees the matter of racism differently would be forced into being mislabeled as a racist.

Uniformity can be used for good, or evil.

I hope this goes toward answering your questions. I have given you an honest attempt to answer you the best I can.

Grace and peace.

I don’t think it’s nuclear war with man made devices, but comes directly from the Lord.

Fire.

An intense fire that mankind has no idea even exists.

the fire can set off the nuclear devices i dont know but its bad

I see you conveniently ignored the real question, but who care about the white kit right? I mean...
People, please stop getting your information from mainstream media.
You must get the facts from alternative media that has not been bought and paid for by propogandists.

Explain what you are inferring within the context of demanding uniformity. What uniformity? The uniformity I see is for equal justice under the law. Is there something wrong with that?

I'm asking because I want to give you an honest answer.

What good are links when Jethro Bodine already starts with the propaganda?

Yes, the incident occurred in Kenosha during the protests that followed the ensuing nights. He shot at least 3, killed 2.
I'm sure you can find a reference to it on line. The kid sits in jail right now awaiting extradition to Wisconsin.

Explain what you are inferring within the context of demanding uniformity. What uniformity? The uniformity I see is for equal justice under the law. Is there something wrong with that?
Again, uniformity is the big picture, and having equal justice under the law is also very important to me. So no, I do not see equal justice for all a bad thing. On this matter, we are in agreement. We both have the same view of the forest.

What I was attempting to say, is how do we implement uniformity?

From a biblical perspective, none of the 12 tribes of Israel were the same. Jacob even blessed them in different ways as to note their differences. What unified them was their common faith and a fundementals grasp on God's law.

We see the same pattern with the 12 Deciples. Jesus did not pick 12 people that were exactly alike. Instead, he chose 12 very different personalities. Jesus chose diversity and called for unity through uniformity that was flexible enough to work IF we did it His way.

The churches in the first century were as diverse as the 12 tribes, and Paul preached unity, and how to achieve it.

Unity is not all about uniformity but it starts with where uniformity is laid as a foundation because uniformity is a core building blocks. It's a stump, not a forest.

When we view uniformity as a forest, we take it's flexibility seat. It becomes hard and rigid. It become black and white across areas that were meant to be grey. When uniformity takes on the view of a forest, it is no longer uniformity. Instead, it becomes a tool to rule over others and press them into one's own box. This manner of unity strips all diversity and says, I'm right and I am the authority of what's right. Conform or suffer the consequences.

This tact was used through history. Rome had it's boot on the necks of its occupied territory with the idea that peace came through force.

While many police officers have had their knee on many a black man, they have also had their knee on many a white man. So I am asking you again to discern my words.

I hope this answers your question. And I did ask you a question I. My previous reply. I do look forward to reading your reply.

Grace and peace

good luck .you would just be able to strut up and disarm a guy .cops train for that and have back up weapons and must also drill with that gun too to keep their badge ,they also carry a knife to stab people who try that .I have trained for that
I don't need luck. Luke 10:19-20 "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

I'm being trained also man. Just like that lady in the video I posted. We are not wrestling with flesh and blood but spiritual powers.

of course ,whipped out the God asks men to lie for him.
do you lie to get people saved.

notice he says go and buy a purse and script .I guess money for the church is also a sin .and paper .you can't just says it's only the sword ,when He says go and buy,a sword and a purse and script because I will no longer provide for you like i have .
I need to address this. He knew that the sin in Peter would come out........when pressed and therefore Jesus wasn't lying about anything. Jesus therefore had to rebuked Peter for cutting off the ear!

What good are links when @Jethro Bodine already starts with the propaganda?
Because I'm having a conversation with you, not Jethro.

Yes, the incident occurred in Kenosha during the protests that followed the ensuing nights. He shot at least 3, killed 2.
I'm sure you can find a reference to it on line. The kid sits in jail right now
You ask, why was he not shot. First, did he resist arrest? Did he threaten the police with his gun?
I want to look at the stump. Do you know how and where the police arrested him?
Did the police follow protocol?

When an officer tells you to do something, do you do it, or do you resist? I've seen many videos where the police tell the criminal to drop their weapon. If the criminal drops their weapon, they are no longer a threat of using that weapon.

I have to assume this young man followed orders and dropped his weapon which spared his life.

Can you provide any evidence that he resisted arrest?

So we will see how the justice system rules when all the facts are obtained and evaluated.

Jeff has graciously explained his position clearly. Please cease from badgering everyone who disagrees with your perspective.
