White police vs. American blacks

Here is what I am observing in this entire conversation:

People saying there is going to be a race war. Here is what scripture says.. Acts 10:34-35 Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism, but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right."

That we can kill people under suspicion. Matthew 5:21-22 "You have heard that is was said to the people long ago,'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment' But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to the brother,'Raca' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.

If we are in danger of hell just for saying "you fool"......I don't think we can murder period

People saying that we are the justice part of Christ, no. Romans 12:19-21 Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge, I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Remember, we are fighting spiritual warfare and in the Spirit we do the opposite of what "feels" natural.

Now, all authorities have been set up by God and we are to submit to governing authorities. This is where black people are not getting the Jesus memo. Romans 13:5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.

Some blacks and some cops are not acting in line with God's plan for a peaceful living situation. I pray that this is not a cancer that spreads, cause the hate has definitely been spreading throughout the world.

So we will see how the justice system rules when all the facts are obtained and evaluated.
And I still have enough faith in our justice system that justice will prevail.

Unfortunately, there is a subculture that don't really know what they're asking for when they push to dismantle and defund the police. They have a clear agenda to abolish justice the way we currently understand it. Instead of reasoning solutions, they want to repay evil for evil. They don't care about the baby. Instead, they want to throw away the baby with the bath water because the baby is guilty by association of the dirty water.

God help our country, and may we pray for their resolve. I understand how difficult it is to keep this site United but I cannot begin to say I understand how it would be done at a national level. Heck, most Christians can't even create unity among the other denominations.... Know what I'm saying?

What I was attempting to say, is how do we implement uniformity?

From a biblical perspective, none of the 12 tribes of Israel were the same. Jacob even blessed them in different ways as to note their differences. What unified them was their common faith and a fundementals grasp on God's law.

No disrespect, but you put to much emphasis on God's law. It was not the law that unified them, it was the law that divided them. What united them was their common faith in the one true God.

We see the same pattern with the 12 Deciples. Jesus did not pick 12 people that were exactly alike. Instead, he chose 12 very different personalities. Jesus chose diversity and called for unity through uniformity that was flexible enough to work IF we did it His way.

The churches in the first century were as diverse as the 12 tribes, and Paul preached unity, and how to achieve it.

Paul preached unity in Christ and Christ alone. Not a conformity to God's laws.

Hebrews 8:10-12
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Catholics, Jehovah's Witness's, Mormons, Protestants.............. All have different beliefs about doctrine, but they ALL have a common faith in the one true God. We may each see him differently, but we all share that same common faith.

When shall we find unity? When we can lay down the scriptures and let go of the law so that we stop standing in judgement over one another's beliefs, religious or political, and accept the common faith that we have been called to walk in.

As for the forest and the trees, you seek for unity and condemn the division. But is it not the Lord himself who brings the division? Separating the sheep from the goats?

Luke 12:51-53
Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Don't leave this part of Romans 13 out...

"4For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer." - Romans 13:4

Going out on a limb here, folks, but I think we'll see that in the end this is a battle between society and the militant gay agenda in America. These other things are just the places where the rage of the gay community and it's defenders is getting expressed. You may not see this is true, yet, but I think you will in time.

We were warned about this in the 90's. And look what it's come to.

Okay, I guess God has blessed me with a transgendered kid who is in love with a bi-racial girl for a reason!

Agreed but where is that? What media sources are unbiased?
I think TimCast is largely unbiased, though he is neither a Christian nor a conservative.
YouTube seems to be the best place to get easily accessible, largely unbiased news coverage by alternate media.

I'm convinced that underneath every 'liberal' in America is some sympathetic connection to the gay community. Whether it's because they themselves are, or have been, involved in it, or know someone close to them who is, either way, that seems to be what's driving the rage against authority at this time, at least in America. We were warned in the church in the 90's about this militancy and what would happen if we allowed it.

I'm convinced underneath every hardcore conservative is the fear factor. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

I'm pretty sure this is what Hitler used to come into power, fear of "those" taking over.

You are twisting the passage.
The fear being spoken of is the fear of God's Judgment.
Those who are made perfect in God's love, living that love, have no fear of the coming Judgment of God.

I can use it how God has shown me how to use it.

...but, yes, conservatives are afraid of unprincipled, lawless rebels coming to their houses and destroying their homes and property, and even being killed, because the rebels feel threatened and convicted concerning their lawless lives. Just the mere presence of those who don't like their lifestyles and are not resisting them in any way is not acceptable to them. It's not going to end well.

"17This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. 18There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." - 1 John 4:17-18

I've butted heads with you about the plain words of scripture before.
Have at it. But don't you dare tell me the plain words of scripture don't really mean what they say.

Thank you for acknowledging that this is the case, cause it is.
