I've been MIA for a couple of days, but hey I'm still winning!

Guess what, the house I'm buying got funded yesterday and recorded today :D

I am officially a homeowner!!!!

I was a student in Catholic high school who had turned bad. In desperation, my mother agreed to buy me a ticket to a Billy Graham movie. To the surprise of everybody, including myself, I accepted Christ.

At the theater, I made a false profession, and God kept convicting me that no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't be good enough to earn my way to Heaven. Reading the booklet they gave me, "Do You Know the Steps to Peace With God? I realized that it was hopeless, and that only Jesus could save me. I was about to accept Him, when Satan took his last shot, asking how did I know that Jesus would really save me? I hesitated, realized I had no choice, and I accepted Christ.

ruby917 i know that feeling as well, i dont miss renting, even though i have to fix everything that has broken on my house except the french doors. i still glad that i own now

pay ahead on your principal if you can it will shorten the length of the loan
 
Thanks Jason, that's what I hope to do. The cool thing is that my mortgage (including taxes and insurance) is less than what my rent was going up to next month at my apartment. I'm excited, nervous, but God is good and He has done this whole thing so far. It would not have been possible without Him. :D

Vince, thank you for sharing, and congrats to you as well. God is so faithful isn't He?

to be able afford property in california(i'm saying that like the beachboys would) is a blessing in itself.
