So, does the early bird get the worm or the moon? First come, first served? China has plans to stake its claim to property of the moon by 2026 (just over 1 decade from now) when they envision the first "inhabitants" of our lunar satellite. Does anyone find it a little mind-blowing that we could look up in the sky and see China lit up by the sun? If they realize their goals, should they (or any country) claim ownership of it? How much of it should they be given ownership of? The whole thing?

"A U.S. space entrepreneur, Robert Bigelow, has sounded alarm that China could own large portions of the moon by 2026, edging out the United States in the race for ownership of the Moon."
